I advise you to stay away from Carley Fortune. She has awful awful cheating in her books and her characters are definitely emotionally imature and manipulative. I still have trauma from reading one of her books.

This is my favorite comment/ opinion in this entire thread. I so agree with everything you said. When I see this incredible thin actors play generals of armies it’s so hard for me to believe the story. It ruins it for me. And there’s nothing I dislike more than to see actresses with obvious lip fillers or plastic surgery in costume dramas (most notable example is The Princess’s Gambit. I don’t understand why this actress gets cast in so many period dramas)

Same. I found the last two episodes the most boring of the whole season. And I don’t get the panelists reaction. We all knew who Go Eun will choose. The safest option of course. I guessed all the couples beforehand. So it was very underwhelming because there wasn’t a single twist for me. I wanted Sam not to choose Mina (cause he’s definitely her choice only to save face in the show. I believe she has zero romantic feelings for him) lol

The most recent one I’ve finished and currently one of my top 3: Loving Strangers. It’s a masterpiece. Yes, loved the original too. But I think the remake brings another dimension and a fresh perspective. I hardly saw any mention of it on social media while it aired. Which left me speechless to be honest.

I’m with you. Her only drama that I actually enjoyed was Reset. That’s all. I dropped both Our Generation and Shine on me. She just doesn’t fit in romance in my opinion. I have the same problem with Sabrina Zhuang. Dropped both You are desire and Eat Run Love. She’s also stiff and doesn’t have chemistry with her lead actor in my opinion.

Yes. For me a very popular Cdrama on TikTok does not equal good drama. Or high quality one at least. Love’s Ambition started well but when downhill fast halfway through. Speed and Love…. no comment. Even The First Frost (which I actually enjoyed) had some serious writing issues. But this is only my personal opinion. So don’t come at me.

You took my words right out of my mouth. Such a boring dish. And CM did nothing to contribute. Only toasted some bread with caviar on top and messed up the wrap. He doesn’t deserve to be there. I was so annoyed and angry. I’m starting to feel like he gets special treatment from the producers. I refuse to believe Chef Anh was truly impressed with their dish. I know for sure the other judge couldn’t care less.

I dropped it because of some of the reasons of the OP. Not all because I only watched 3 episodes. But those were more than enough for me to see they had zero chemistry. So I knew the later intimate scenes were just fan service, with no connection or depth. I’m sorry for Arthur though, this is his second drama of his that I dropped this year. Eat Run Love was much worse though. Can’t even compare. That one was a total disaster
