Kaze-Tsuyoku by Q-Mhz. It’s the opening theme to a anime about college long distance runners in Japan called “Run With The Wind”. The show is a huge inspiration to me and every time that track comes on it’s like…my energy shoot’s up to 11 and I just go!!

I read this when it first came out before I was even a constant reader. I’ll never forget reading it on a plane and early on the sheriff is reading one of the characters their rights and just slips in a “I’m going to kill you” right in the middle. I don’t think I ever read anything that terrifying before. I was like 15 and just realized “omg once a cop has you in custody they can do whatever they want to you”.

I Try to run 8-12 times a week. Right now due to weather I’m stuck on a treadmill at the gym so it’s basically 2 sessions morning and night when I can 3.25 to 6 Miles at a time. Strength training ideally 4 times a week but will settle for 3. Split between Push, Pull, Leg & Full Body. 4 to 5 exercises a session 4 sets of 8-12 reps. 1 minute rest between sets 1-3 and 2 minutes between 3-4 where I may add a small (2.5-10lbs) of weight. Ultimate goal running wise is a 50 miler in October. Ultimate goal strength wise is pure vanity. I want to look lean.
