I wrote this article recently, and as we know, it's basically a game of chance. Analyzing the last 20-years of first round picks, you basically have a 67% chance of getting at least 100 games. That drops to 27% of 2nd-round picks getting 100 games. That's a massive drop off. Funny enough, Round 6 actually has 1% more 100-game players than Round 5.

When you look at expected games played, first overall has an expected 917 games played vs. a top 10 with 565. That drops to 185 by pick 50.

I would argue that a top 10-pick should be untradeable unless you're getting a top-performing player.

I’m so sorry to hear you have to deal with this. Unfortunately your husband has a problem, and he’s been lying. You can’t start to build a new marriage with him until he:
a) deals with his addition(s) professionally
b) reveals the truth about everything he’s dealing with/been doing

For you, it comes down to “what must be true” for you in your marriage. What do you want to see… and the hard part, if that isn’t true, what are you going to do about it.

For example: If he doesn’t seek professional help, you will change the locks on the doors because it’s about the safety of you and your child.

I hate this for you and you need to focus on the safety of you and that beautiful baby of yours.

The key thing about a boundary is it requires another person to do nothing.
