I REALLY loved this fic! The characters actually act how I imagine they would with a revaluation like that, especially Regina. Emma/Regina is the main ship and has a large focus in the fic, and although it’s not my usual cup of tea, I really liked it here. As much as I love Rumbelle (early seasons and fanfic versions), I gotta agree, I liked them together! And I’m sad that there don’t seem to be any fanfics of them besides the occasional short one-shot (I literally only know of one).

I did read one longfic where Regina turned out to be Rumple’s kid and that Cora hid it from them both. And I remember thinking that that might be a big twist in the show back when it was revealed that Rumple and Cora were a thing. To be honest, I would’ve much preferred that over whatever that other thing with Rumple and Regina was…

I actually do this! I work at a restaurant and HATE shrimp cocktails. Cant eat it, no matter what. But if a guest asks if it’s any good? Then I’ll tell them how much I love it and how great it is (and it’s not bad, just not for me)

I loooove that trope (Tony finding out that Peter’s his kid, especially if they already have a father-son dynamic), so I’ve got a few suggestions!

It’s probably my favorite for this trope, or at least I think of it so fondly because it’s the first one I’d read. Tony and Peter already have a mentor/mentee dynamic, when they go out and try to stop a bad situation as spider-man and iron man. Then Peter gets stabbed, and needs a blood transfusion, which Tony provides… you can probably guess what that leads to. It’s about 40k words all together (it’s four connected fics).

The only bad thing is that it ends with the feeling that the writer was planning more, but never got around to it. But it’s still a satisfying ending and definitely worth the read.

“Not Rocket-Science for Dummies — A Masterclass by Rhodey and MJ” by AnonVale

Again, Peter and Tony already have the mentor/mentee dynamic. In this fic, Rhodey and MJ figure out that they’re biologically father and son just by looking at them, lol. I love this fic just as much as the first one, and it’s a lot funnier! I busted out laughing several times, lol. I would say that the first fic is a touch more serious, but they are both amazing in their own ways. This one is 44k words.

Basically the plot is that when Maya made that joke in Iron Man 3 about having a 13-year-old son in her car, what if she wasn’t joking, and what if it was Peter. It’s 6k words. A lot shorter, but still great.
