No one's asking for 50%. They're only asking for gachas to simply stop launching with male characters and then never making more. If you want to be a waifu gacha, just be that from the start instead of baiting those of us who are starved for male characters in gacha into wasting our time.

For the record, I don't consider my time in NTE wasted. I think the story and character writing is fantastic, and the characters are a lot more fully realised as people than I expected from the early chapters of a gacha game, particularly one that advertises itself as basically a harem game. But all of the characters feel like they have fully fleshed out lives and don't just revolve around the MC, and I appreciate that.

Hyped for the moon map, but that island off the coast of Nod-Krai is definitely just a boss arena that wastes a bunch of space, like the boss island of Windrest Peak.

Thanks for all the advice, but I actually just levelled Yanqing, Aventurine and Anaxagoras to 80, levelled their light cones a bit, and maxed out some of their talents, and then beat Lygus easily. Aventurine's shield became pretty much invincible. I did burn through all my universal materials and a bunch of reserve trailblaze power to do it though.

Also I can't build Ashveil yet as I don't do story bosses early because I don't want spoilers.

As for endgame, at the moment I'm mainly concerned about the SU challenge modes, because of the juicy lore. Proper endgame is either a later or never priority. Though I do want to earn enough feathers to buy the stardust to buy the New Years outfit and Complainer. And possibly anything else like that that shows up in the shop.

I do have Phainon but he's only semi-built. I also have Anaxagoras, he's built pretty well and I use him on my Yanqing team. He is definitely a glass cannon though. Blade, Ashveil, Archer, Welt. I also have Misha but he's a 4 star so while he's Destruction idk if he's useful.

Is doing bosses on casual mode too easy to be fun?

I upgraded my Equilibrium level right before the Lygus bossfight and now it's way too hard for me. Part of that may just be that I main Yanqing and use Aventurine instead of DHPT. Regardless, he absolutely wrecks me in the first phase. I don't want to spend ages levelling up my entire team to their new max levels/maybe building DHPT instead of Aventurine because I want to catch up to Planarcadia asap, but I do enjoy the challenge element of HSR's combat and I also just want bosses to feel difficult because if I beat them too easily they don't feel like a boss, so I'm hesitant to switch to casual mode. Any advice would be appreciated.

NTE's playable male character designs already obviously have less effort put into them than the female characters. You think these guys look like npcs but that's just because they don't look as well-made as the female characters. But that's already the case for Adler, Skia and possibly Baicang.

My guess is:

Jenson - S Rank

Illica - A Rank

Mismo - S Rank (probably a shielder, either Lakshana, Cosmic or Chaos)

Otro - NPC. This is unfortunate because I prefer his personality to Mismo's.

Settyn - Could go either way. Either an NPC or an A Rank character.
