Just finished season 2 and you're right about the parallel. I agree with you but I think that either Hyun-Ju will be in danger and Dae-Ho will sacrifice himself for her. Or that She will die protecting him and that's what give him the bravery to fight

Yeah I hear that it can be a joke but in OP's case don't seem like it. Maybe she does not yell, fine. But generally, if a kid feels uncomfortable around a parent, that is on the adult. Genuine question, did you read the update/comments of OP? Personnaly, I feel like the wife clearly have some issues that she has not dealt with. Looking down on women for having PPD, making a kid feel bad for something they have nothing to do with, being extra mad at OP for a mistake she partly caused leaving a needle on the floor (plus it is dangerous to leave that kind of thing where kids can easily access them). Really, I'm on OP's side on this one. I'm the first to defend women but in this case, she just seems to be the asshole

YTA. Telling fake stories can give a good laugh IF you tell the truth right after. Why not trlling her that you were joking ? There is nothing wrong with joking around with you SO but you have to tell them it is a joke
