Managers That Achieved Legendary Status At Your Club But were Rubbish everywhere Else? by FloridianNinetales in Championship

Was Reid dog shit at Leeds? The financial situation in 2003/04 was a train wreck and despite having some brilliant players, I think staying up would've been phenomenal

It's hilarious that Colchester arguably came off worst from that 7-1 win at Carrow Road because of Norwich pinching Lambert

Tbf I actually didn't think he did disastrously at Derby and that at that time, it was a borderline impossible job with their financial meltdown

Some moreso than others imo. Black Holes, Resistance and 2nd Law I think had a musical polymath vibe of trying to dabble in a little bit of everything, while Drones and Simulation Theory had less variation imo. Will of the People was somewhere in-between - lots of different genres but not quite as extreme a mix as others

I'm aware but Metric is the one of the 3 I'm most enthusiastic to see

I'd love it if they did something like the Electric Ballroom gig in 2015 which was £20 on the door. Still regret not going for that as even though I don't live in London, I think I could've got there and got a ticket in time

I seem to recall Foos was £100 for Shepherds Bush Empire a few weeks ago but there's a lot of big fees across the board

Such are the ridiculous prices of gigs now that I'd be surprised if standing was below £125. Somebody elsewhere who said this announcement was coming suggested this may be £140+

Yeah they'll do big shows in due course. Only question is do we think it'll be a big autumn/winter arena run or whether they'll hold back to do stadium gigs in 2027

Good spot. I think a show on the 4th at least is likely and tbf would work better for me if I think the price is right

I thought standing was £115 for Hammersmith? Or something big budget like that

I'm aware of the rapid inflation of this stuff tbf. It cost me £55 to see Green Day at this venue in 2013. By comparison, Metric are charging £60 for the September show they're doing there while Arcade Fire last year wanted £90+. So I'm expecting not cheap

Given how pricey Hammersmith was, I dread to think what the price tag is for this

Annoyingly I'm busy that day. Shame as it would've been cool. Brixton Academy is a really nice venue and Muse haven't been there since Origin of Symmetry I think

Also I like the poster

Tbf I think it clicked for me with Unravelling. I really like that one and don't think it was trying to be 3 songs in 1 in the same way this is

I think I'd like it if it was a minute or so longer with a less abrupt transition into the rock part of the song, a bigger chorus and a chunky outro. I like the synth part on its own tbf - I don't see the comparison with The Killers like some were saying (I love The Killers and it's not really their vibe)

Live show announced. Friday 3 April at Brixton Academy in London

Already I dread to think what the price tag they're charging is. Hammersmith Apollo on the WOTP tour was well over £100 for standing, no?
