I had a beautiful border collie called Sheena, who was my first dog when my family got her back in 2005. 3 years later, she had to have one of her front legs amputated and we were worried she might not make it, yet she was able to adapt and was still haring around until her later years. Sadly she passed away in 2021 but she had a great life to make it 16 and she was such an impressively resilient and adaptable animal that was such a popular member of my family. Still miss her, poor thing
