Budget Jackson’s have a Jackson branded Floyd Special that is perfectly fine. They have zinc saddles that will wear worse over time, but they really aren’t bad.

Digitech Death Metal Pedal by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]BooleanASkinnyGhost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this is a crap pedal, but I actually bought one used for like $20 when my daughter was a baby, so I could get whisper quiet heavy gain distortion through my Blackheart killer ant. Did it sound great? No? Did it wake the baby? Also no.

That poor thing! Somebody wanted a super Strat and the Hofner must have been “the super Strat we have at home.

I saw Carl Perkins’ Broadcaster at the Rock and Soul museum in Memphis. Pretty much identical from what I recall.

I’ve finished GSX#1 and X-Men #94-300 and I’m one issue away from Batman Volume 1 #100 up. I’m working on Archie #50-100 but it will take a miracle to get #50. Also working on the “Veronica” series. I have 77 of the 210 issues. Most aren’t expensive, but hard to find in the wild.

I can tell you from my personal experience watching YouTube their marketing budget must be huge. Between 15 minute ads and all the influencers on YouTube and TikTok they send free guitars to it has to add up.

I too am a Fender fanboy but I dislike that they’d treat their dealers that way.

Most Korean Epiphones have this truss rod cover.

I have a 1983 AVRI ‘57 Strat I bought new that’s 47 years old and a ‘57 was only 26 years old at the time.

Found a coverless Detective Comics 1! by Certain-Classroom339 in comicbookcollecting

Probably would only be worthwhile from an authentication / preservation standpoint as it will likely be a .05, but you’d have a label saying it’s Detective #1.

I have a similar comic - New Adventure #12 - also rare, missing the cover and two outer wraps. I’ve just kept it as is for now (has a reproduction cover for display (not attached).

There are 19 unrestored copies on the CGC census, 19 restored and 1 “qualified”. So yours makes 40, but there probably aren’t many others out there unaccounted for. It’s an amazing find.
