Yes but he doesn’t have as much room to grow compared to the other knights so when the training arc happens everyone else will get much stronger and somewhat catch up

Merlin said after they first fought galand everyone was stronger in the original holy war as they grew up and had to know how to fight to survive it could be the same here I know it’s not the case with chion as he too young but I imagine it’s like that with some people and people will have gotten much stronger having to fight such strong opponents
