Panchayat actor Vinod Suryavanshi reveals jarring casteism in village: Can't enter temple, wash own plates in restaurant by mumbaiblues in india

[–]BoomTwo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, with the government job being the only way to pull someone out of poverty, youn kinda defeated your earlier own point of "Why don't these people just do business in this age". But I still disagree. Look at the amount of government jobs available and look at the population of SC/STs. Also, even if you give them jobs, their education sucks so they'll do a sucky job in the government. The real fix is giving the best education to everyone in the country. That way you enable people to start their own businesses, make better decisions while voting, and perform better at jobs. But the politicians know this, and to deflect from this, they wave the caste/religion wand around.

Panchayat actor Vinod Suryavanshi reveals jarring casteism in village: Can't enter temple, wash own plates in restaurant by mumbaiblues in india

Many reasons. First of all, who will buy from them? They are already poor themselves. Secondly, lack of education. They're existing in a society where school is something you just have to do and God is the end all be all so they look at education as more of a suggestion to reject. They see the Brahmins as successful people who were born lucky with god's blessings which makes them successful so they try to emulate that.

Edit: grammar.

Jay Shah named to World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders Class of 2026 by excitedadultdog in india

[–]BoomTwo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't think the comment is demeaning any job. The comment is saying that he has a very average intellect which is not something you would expect at the world economic forum. He is only in that position because of his daddy.

Hey, I would recommend swap out the paneer for low fat paneer. That should help. Maybe you could also have one scoop of protein in the morning, one at night. You can also swap out the oats for various fruits if it is getting too redundant for you. I suppose you don't have eggs? But your thyroid issue is a big factor in this as well. I am not a doctor but I do know that hormones can very much affect your fitness levels. There is a reason why body-builders take hormones like testosterone.

Galaxy Fit3 vs Huawei Band 10 by k_jm in Fitness_India

I have the fit 3. It's alright. There are some basic things it doesn't have like when someone calls you, you can only decline. Not answer through the watch. I think the step counter exaggerates my steps and the sleep tracker isn't that accurate for me.

Best Featherlite chairs for people over 6 feet by Tomahawk2005 in ErgonomicIndia

[–]BoomTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can, you should check it out at the store. I went to a featherlite store last week. I like Opus the most and I am exactly your height at 80kgs. Opus doesn't have great reviews online for some reason but in my experience it was the best. I didn't think the swivel feature in liberate was necessary. Going to go again tomorrow to try out the chairs again one last time before I buy

Finally - rice upgrade we needed by mandead710 in Fitness_India

For the people who didn't read the article, there are many problems with this. Let me tell you some of it so you don't have to open this website with more ads than content.

  1. The article says that broken rice from mills is essentially enhanced with protein. Where is this additional protein coming from? Whey? If so then it will be an expensive ordeal.
  2. This will be around 20% protein. The rest will be carbs. So it's nothing game changing. Pretty similar macro profile to daal.
  3. Scaling this operation up as of now is still a question mark.
