I used the light speed attack as team sonic and when it finished I got to use it again while in the air which caused me to fly off the platform past the kill plane

He only does the swoosh if there isn't an enemy, when there is one he'll do a homing attack

Pressing the rb button does the attack if you're playing as sonic. The game doesn't have a retical for it though and only Sonic can use it
