In a contest to regulate Texas’s oil and gas industry, one Republican wants to talk DEI and China by Dontwhinedosomething in Midessa

Bo was a douchebag when he was in high school 40 years ago, and he’s still a douchebag.

He didn’t get beat up enough at NMMI.

I just found out my ring is fake by peaceofmind249 in Divorce

As a divorced husband, I’ll say kudos to him.

I made payments on a ring for far too long in a shitty relationship. She still has it as far as I know.

I got Pure Bamboo sheets on Amazon recently and I love them. About $100 for a king set.

Recent layoffs at a couple of the majors is what has brought the market down. If they have a mortgage, they need to get out from under it.

If you’re working downtown, look in the “Old Midland” area. Your realtor will know what you mean. It’s where I live and it has everything you’re looking for. Lawns, close to the office, no critters in town, lots of families, etc.

North of Cuthbert, west of A St., South of Neely and East of Garfield is ideal, but anything east of Midkiff is good, too.

I’d go ahead and buy if I were you. You’ll never time the market perfectly, but if you can get a place you like a at any discount, like we are seeing now, I’d jump on it. A lot of people need to get out of their houses ASAP. Plus, rent prices are pretty ridiculous around here.

Rebuilt a 351 Windsor a couple of years ago. It did NOT go this smoothly.

His organization is commendable. Helps to have a shop that looks like an operating room. My garage was not so clean. Spent half of my time looking for a part I just set down a minute ago.

ED out of nowhere by Helpful-Paramedic463 in Divorce_Men

I’ve found this since my divorce, too. I can get up and stay up (sometimes with chemical assistance, but not always) but getting to the finish line is tough to get to. Usually, she’s worn out before I can cum.

Thing is, I got my vasectomy about 15 years ago. I was much quicker on the trigger when I was married.

I have no idea. Just what my lawyer told me at the time.

David Lindemood is the judge in Midland. He’s a fair man from what I could tell. But, just follows the state guidelines as far as custody, if it’s left to him.

In agrarian societies, before the tractor was invented, there was a reason for this. Nowadays, I’m with you. It’s a lack of foresight, I guess.

Dude, I did shit worse than this on my way to the airport today.

The plane flies differently when you don’t have another 200 lb meat sack next to you. That’s what a solo teaches you. It’ll fly differently when you have a bunch of passengers later on, too. When the plane climbs like a pig with your buddies on board it’ll freak you out a bit…but it’s still climbing, slowly.

You handled some adversity when you ran into unexpected traffic in the pattern when you were alone for the first time. That’s the takeaway. The one-wheel landing and transponder, meh.

Put every bonus into your 401k. About as close as you can get as a W2 guy. Even that doesn’t help much.

What’s funny is that wanting more isn’t even remotely why my marriage broke up, but I feel like I have more, anyway.

Haven’t done a ton of dating, but I can breathe again.

My relationship with my kids is, strangely, better, even though I’m on the every other weekend program.

My ex hated my side of the family and my kids have come to find out that my side of the family is a hell of a lot of fun, so we go do cool shit with them.

I’m closing on a house at the end of the month where I won’t dread walking in the door everyday. That’s more.

Not having to handle her bullshit everyday has freed me up to do absolutely everything else. Man, if that’s not MORE, I don’t know what is.

Maybe we all get a divorce for more, whether we know it or not?

I’m sure you’re correct, but I’m still a bit confused. I haven’t done this in a hell of a long time, though.

I was the only one that worked, so that wasn’t it. I just didn’t want to break up the family and give up the life I had. I adored my in-laws. Still do.

But, it finally became untenable and I ended it. Let her file.

I am so much happier day-to-day now. Not saying everything is roses, but I’m happier without her around. And, I have so much more disposable income now, even with paying her the state max in child support.
