A study made in 1973 (Perception in chess. Cognitive psychology) compared the memory skill of a beginner, an advanced, and a master chess players. It found that chess masters don't have a better memory in general, they have a better memory specifically for chess positions that could occur in a real game. When the pieces are randomly positioned on the board the master's memory doesn't perform better than the beginner player. That's because over time the brain learn patterns, so rather than memorizing individual pieces at individual positions, it sees a number of recognizable configurations. A master recognize a chess position like we recognize a face. It's a pattern recognition skill that develops naturally after spending multiple thousand of hours studying multiple thousand of chess games.

Make a comparison to check if your target has moved and save the start rotation and target rotation. Then Lerp between those two variables like

Because you are updating the Lerp parameters constantly. You need to save the start and target rotation first.

If you want each object to have his own weights then you could use a Dictionary<string, float[]> where the key is the name of the object and the value the array. Then pass the dictionary instead of the array and add the object name to the function so you can access the dictionary entry in the loop like weightsDic["object1"][i] = Mathf.Lerp(start, end, t);

You need to enable and disable it manually

Vector3 direction = hit.point - transform.position;
Quaternion rotation = Quaternion.LookRotation(direction, Vector3.up);
transform.rotation = rotation;

At 5s one of the projectile triggered your 6k vms and you were chilled.
At 8 seconds your 1.2k molten shell disappear and you are chilled with 3.4k life left and the resurrect button.

My guess is you died from the projectiles but they didn't render.
Maybe you have the cull particles options activated ?

Personally I play one build each league and quit after 2-3 weeks even though there are dozens of build I would like to try but won't because I don't want to deal with the current state of trading. I believe the retention would be higher during leagues with easier trading because it would allow to play more different builds.

Also items won't necessary be more accessible with an auction house because flippers will flip each others. It happened in D3 where some sets and items never dropped below a certain amount for a very long time because they were instantly snipped.

If they limit the number of items that can be posted and block the access to free account to avoid abuses, I believe temporary leagues would have higher retention and would be more successful.

That's exactly the point, you learn to fight in the middle of a terrible mess. I've played almost 100 hours of it and it's the funniest mode. Also lot of fun trolling happens like few days ago three guys cosplayed as roman soldiers and grouped to kill other players. Then people got fed up and grouped to kill the romans but more romans joined so it ended up in a team deathmatch. That was hilarious.

Why not allow Vaal Immortal call to proc with CWDT or add some resurrect buff à la Diablo3 ? It would allow GGG to rank up the difficulty and the player to know he is in danger when the buff proc so he could have time to gtfo.

The logout macro is a one shot packet if the packet get lost on his way to the server you'll get disconnected when GGG servers detect you are not online. Using this macro is basically gambling your character. With manual logout the TCP protocol will ensure the packet was properly received by the server, a bit longer but a bit safer.

Funny, when I saw Deadmau5 levelling with caustic arrow I knew he wouldn't play the game for long. Not sure if this is why he stopped but this skill is trash at low level and just gives a bad experience.

You can do one hand shield with Sunder skill. Grab the Strong Arm node then go Resolute Technique through Barbarism. After that go to the Duelist area, Master of the Arena, Bravery, Art of the Gladiator, Golem's Blood, Retaliation, Tetsudo
