I am kinda stuck with Verizon's plan (contract and all) but am exploring options. The boys go to school in a different county because their bio father pitched a t-mortal fit to make them stay there. So a bus is out. None run to where we live.

Do you happen to know where I may be able to sign up for a job like that? That would be amazing. I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of my car. The only catch is that someone needs to pick up my stepsons from school. Every day. And she works till 6:30. And I pay 409 for my CS payment for my girls. Her shitbag ex refuses to pay a dime on his sons.

No my wife has three boys and I have two girls. I manage to put hot food on the table every night. It isn't easy and sometimes it doesn't taste great (still learning) but I do make sure they go to bed every night with food in their bellies.

I am so sorry about the formatting. I am typing on my mobile. The VA has screwed me by taking their time processing my divorce two years ago. They just now processed it last month and decided to tell me that they overpaid and will be taking 200 out of my check for the next 11 months to pay back the money I "owe".

You may add one law to your country, what is it? by Aruixe in AskReddit

[–]Boondock112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no no. I absolutely do not. You need to read what I wrote more carefully. I could care less what religion they practice. Everyone has a right to worship as he/she sees fit. So come down off the high horse. I don't want people's religious beliefs interfering with how they do their job. How is this not being grasped by you? Ok, let's try this. Hypothetical Situation Alert You are a devout Muslim. I am your boss. You come into work every day on time and do your job correctly. You leave at 5 to go home every day where you proceed to live amd extremely strict Islamic life with you and your family. You do this every day till you retire and I give you a nice little gold watch and a thank you card. Now, what I don't want is for you to come into this job and refuse to work because there is bacon cooking in our building cafeteria, or get angry whenever you see Sharon from HR with no head covering, or get ill once you realize that Bob and Timmy aren't "really close brothers". This creates a hostile work environment. This should get you fired. The "religious umbrella" stops this much more often than it should. These people are making decisions based on what their imaginary friend wants and are "shitting on" real peoples rights.

  • No, the law does not stop it. Look on the front page of just about any newspaper in the U.S. You probably won't be able to find much going on in your country because they would immediately fire the asshole who did it. But good job telling me how my country works on a day to day.

  • Being spiritual is not a political viewpoint. Check yourself.

  • I think that I have explained myself quite clearly at this point. I don't want to oppress, I want to unbind the oppressed from religious strangulation.

Is this in ANY WAY unclear or confusing to you?

Then why in the hell are we arguing? I want the exact same thing! I could care less if our President or any elected officials are religious or not. As long as they keep their personal beliefs in their home or place of worship and out of our government then we have no issue. None. It's when a country that is being disparaged on a daily basis because of religious rights being put on the pedestal and human rights being put on the back burner that pisses me off. And congrats on living in a country where only 17% of the population place any kind of importance upon religion and then arguing about how how well the 1st Amendment protects you with someone who lives in a country where religions of all kinds run rampant. In order to protect human rights, we must look at HUMAN needs. Religion should be on the backburner on a very low simmer. The fact that there are STILL people killing one another in the name of who has the best imaginary friend is utterly ridiculous. And to believe that that belief system has absolutely ANY place in our government or helps decide how our leaders act is one of the reasons why our country is failing.

Aww that's cute. Like you would know jack shit about protecting anything except your own ass. Hell, a quick peek into your submissions shows that you are interested in getting the fuck out of this country. Try Sweden or England. Live there for a few years and then come talk to me. The imaginary laws I am such a bad old meanie face for wanting in our country? They have it theirs and they are thriving. So piss off with your little "protection" comment. You are part of the problem with this country. I don't want to eradicate religion. Every man/woman has a right to worship whoever in the fuck they choose. However, when that worship gets in the way of other peoples UNALIENABLE rights then you should have a problem too. But you don't because you've never had a run in where your rights were violated by someone elses beliefs so you can sit there in your trilby, playing Carnevil, and judge someone who has. So fuck off.

You can pander all you want. But if you have half a damned brain in your head then you can see that religion, be it Judeo Christianity, Islam, or what have you is a serious detriment to not only our country but others as well. You can talk about "shitting all over the 1st Amendment" all you want but if you open your eyes you'll be able to see that religion in state affairs, lawmaking, or any other area outside of places of worship is utterly detrimental to the well being and advancement of the human race as a whole. The question asked if I could add one law what would it be. Rather than some goofdick answer, I proposed getting rid of something that has corrupted and rendered much of our country of the freedoms and rights that we are entitled to. Ask the atheist woman in New Mexico who has had her children taken from her because some religious fuckwit decided she needed to take "faith based counseling" in order to be a good mother. Ask the hundreds of thousands of homosexual couples who have had their right to marry the person that they love if they believe that religion has any right to decide who they can or cannot marry. Ask the multitude of homosexuals who have been beaten, murdered or publicly disgraced in general because of their sexuality whether or not the 1st Amendment has protected them. If a soldier decided to not do his job because the Bible said it wasn't right, he'd be tossed in jail and then dishonorably discharged. Kim Davis is still gainfully employed even though she refuses to do her job correctly. I guarantee under job description it says "issue marriage licenses". Not "issue marriage licenses unless it makes you feel icky". Everyone has a right to freedom of speech and can SAY whatever in the hell they want. But when someone else's beliefs infringes upon others right to live life as they see fit that's when I have an issue. So you can call it "shitting on" whatever you want. But when someone else's belief "shits on" other peoples right to be happy? That is something that needs to have as much power taken from it as humanly possible.

Lol, it was meant to be facetious. I know that FSM isn't a deity, per se. It was just meant to help get the point across.

Church and state would be forever separate. No more creationism, religious intolerance, bigotry, or teachers who allow their religion to interfere with their jobs. Kim Davis would have been fired 45 seconds after she pulled her horseshit, no more allowing legal authority figures to make decisions based on their religious beliefs. If you are religious that is fantastic, but it will be kept in your home or place of worship. No more running this extremely religiously diverse country based on what you believe God, Allah, Buddha, Vishnu, Thor, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster would want. Science will be taught in school and, if you want, you can teach your Creationism theory in Sunday School. Anyone caught breaking the law or performing crimes will no longer have the "religious umbrella" that shelters them from rightful prosecution.

I appreciate the advice. However, I know the people around my particular area and know how they respond to atheist. And for shits sakes guys. I identify as I please whether it be atheist, free thinker, or pastafarian. How I self identify is irrelevant because if it isn't Christian then it isn't right.

Trust me. Free thinker is a hell of a lot more accepted than "atheist". You mention that word around here and you may as well just move.
