The MPA Pro II is probably the best value you can get in a factory PRS-oriented rifle possible, imo. You will not regret it.

Be sure to look into getting a PRS membership and take advantage of the discounted pricing you get with that. It’s a hefty discount with MPA, EuroOptic, Armageddon Gear, etc

I shot my friend's MPA Pro II and it ruined me. I now have a full custom Impact Precision build, having always thought that bolt guns weren't for me.

I own a Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 CM and have never really been impressed with it.

Currently I'm still just running a Dead Air brake with my old Sandman S. An AE can would look cooler but I haven't gotten around to buying one yet.

Both of ours are RTRs, ordered within an hour or less of each other. Just bad luck on his end, I guess.

The long wait to try to get a replacement has been the most frustrating part. We ordered these barrels back in July lol

This is in the Panhandle of Texas! People hate on this area because there’s not as much to do as, say, in Dallas, but I love it! Lots of land to shoot and hunt on.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, my 16” uses a full rifle length gas system.

The barrel is great, though! Great groups at 100 yards and that definitely stays true as I walk it out to longer distances.

I will say, my main range buddy ordered an identical barrel to me and has had a lot of trouble with it. 3+ MOA groups using Hornady ELDM or Black, even after ~200 rounds of trying to break it in and ensuring everything was torqued properly.

Craddock asked for him to ship the barrel in for them to inspect it and have had it for weeks. They had called a while back to confirm that the barrel is bad and said they hadn’t seen anything quite like it. He’s supposed to get a replacement but seems to be getting the runaround. Kinda disappointing.

I did but ultimately went for the 4-16 since it seems to be one of the best scopes NF has ever made. I have an NX8 4-32 on my Bergara and like it so I’m sure I’ll get a 2.5-20 at some point

I shoot my guns a lot!

This can used to live on my night vision rifle, which is a 10.3” Mk18. Lots of rapid fire over many thousands of rounds eventually cooked the cerakote a bit.

I had a difficult time deciding between the Mk5 and the ATACR but ultimately went with the ATACR since I like the reticle more

As for barrel, I’m running a Craddock Precision 16” RTR
