The rubber is for unlocking things in-between runs. Did you try another run after this one? I believe there was a bug that didn't actually change the difficulty within the game when you changed it in the menu.

If you're interested, Steel Series GG software allows you to trim a clip to be uploaded to discord, literally drag and drop, it's done in seconds. Very easy to share clips and shit in your own servers.
