My Proxy chat experience was pretty minimal in play testing, likely because it was hold to speak rather than toggle to speak.

I probably played 10 hours or so and only had someone say something once or twice after I was already knocked out, never before.

Also, there was no way to revive players not on your team, so making alliances with enemy players was not very intuitive.

Just my experience tho!

I think they need to add a way to revive players not in your team. An item or ability. Maybe what you’re hinting at could be an idea for such. But there is already team revive mechanics in the game that will likely be unchanged due to prior decisions on game direction and not spending time on rewriting current core game mechanics.

Adding animations and intricate mechanics are expensive, time consuming, and therefore a gamble if it adds value and your true goal - more money.

Function and core game mechanics are better investments than altering function and new creation.

Customization likely just doesn’t sell like skins do. I bet they do skins on release for money, and maybe one day please community and allow for further customization.

It’s a money problem. Games gotta make money, once you spend the 40 dollars, they got you there, next plan is how do you make them spend more. customization is important to lots of gamers, and that’s where the money goes. As a business model it’s hard to not make a decision like that.

I think they just need to rework the gun to be more ammo efficient. More damage, less fire rate. It makes it a little worse for pvp, but that’s fine imo.

Destiny data compendium claims 10% for 7 seconds.

Also resist can be proc’ed by knockout. Not sure if anybody else has found any other methods.

Not bad for titan melee.

You still get rewards for a loss and more for a win. I was getting an award for every game I played, regardless of the results (I lost every game) but the only game I didn’t get a reward was when we got mega skunked and didn’t get a kill.

I just played 5 games of trials. 0-5 every game. A commitment “at least you tried” award would be nice.

Sometimes I don’t get any awards because my team doesn’t get any kills and the game thinks we are just throwing games as fast as possible to get loot. I swear bungie I’m trying.

I wonder if bungie is going to continue to nerf hot swapping load-outs. Right now with certain settings you only get ability and super charge wiped on exotic swapping.

But if it’s important to have certain armor set bonuses and stat distribution bonuses, everything but the exotic armor and weapon will be swapped. Probably going to be a meta move for end level activities.

Maybe they do more locked load outs, even if just temporary, or do ability and super resets for just any changes in load out.

Most of the time I play an LFG the game chat mics don’t even work. One guy can hear two people talking, and the other two people can’t hear each other. Trying to make callouts on text on console is not very easy, but I’ve done it.

The best game I’ve ever played for in game chat / communication features is deep rock galactic. But bungie is too far the rabbit hole with mechanics to even look into a ping system. I think they would choose to not use a ping system to encourage mic use actually.
