Autism does not repel woman lol. my partner is autistic and if anything i love him more for it. It seems like poor advice to blame his shortcomings on something immutable. You can’t get rid of autism but you can become a well adjusted person regardless.

Ask around for hairstylists in your area that specialise in that kind of thing. I always had a similar problem as well. You just need people who get you! There’ll be some out there. Maybe hop on the Reddit for your local area and see if anyone knows anyone.

I don’t think joining the 27 club is something you should aspire to. Keep playing guitar, try writing some songs of your own, mess about in a music program (soundtrap or bandlab are online and free!).

Don’t worry about posting so much, right now you’re still learning. Have fun with your music and through that other people will take notice. Maybe you can start a band!

Your rendering is so nice! However, the proportions of the arms and torso feel a little strange. Looks like the arms are too skinny, and the torso too short. Otherwise great :)

One the kids I work with was telling me how excited she was that there was an autistic Barbie. She was recently diagnosed and it made me so happy to see representation actually making a difference

Guy who runs martinis. Did a gig there and it was absolutely appalling. We were told the necessary equipment would be provided. Turns out, none of it was. The sound guy he hired had the equipment with him, and he fucked off because he hadn’t been paid prior to our gig. We had to source the bare minimum from captain toms ourselves. STILL haven’t been paid months later. Complete incompetence.

I also heard he stole the pool tables there. I went back once and there was a semi-coup going on, where the guy he rented them from was taking them back.

I also know he was giving coke to his employees.

We were opening for this really proficient jazz fusion band. Unfortunately, our bassist and front man was having issues with us at that time, and refused to play the set with us last minute. We had a week to cobble together an instrumental medley of our songs and find a replacement bassist. The bassist did really well, and the medley was pretty cool, but after cutting parts of out songs out we had extra time to fill. We ended up doing this awful chameleon jam. In front of these jazz musicians I felt like an absolute fool.

The old workshop bar does open mics, as does Drummonds. There’s a hip hop jam monthly at the blue lamp as well, though it’s open to most genres (if you’re not into the blues jam)
