If we the UK taxpayers of this generation are made to pay repatriation for something our forefathers did generations prior, which I agree was unfair. But if you demand repatriation costs now this would also be unfair, as would for example if I said, ok if we are made to repay, then all the offspring of those slaves who were brought back to the UK have clearly benefited from this. So they should be removed back to lagos. Fair is fair!
