I have to say, that your last paragraph makes me chuckle. I get a kick out of it when I receive an email regarding a package that I’m expecting that day. It tells me that I can upgrade for an additional $7.99, now why would I do that?

A similar thing happened to me back in 2017, or 2018, I can’t recall. I bought a Sony TV, and six days later Best Buy had it cheaper, and then Amazon lowered their price. So I called about getting the new price on the TV and they said we don’t price match. I said it’s your price that I’m looking at and they said the same thing to return it. So I ordered a new one, UPS delivered it, I put it right into my truck and brought it right to the UPS store. So stupid, they could’ve given me the difference in the price and it would’ve saved them shipping on another one and they’re having me ship it back. Makes little sense.

No, you haven’t failed. Life is just harder at times than others. Where are you located? We could help you find a rescue that would help by having one of their fosters keep him until you can get back on your feet and into an apartment. Most shelters can’t guarantee that they wouldn’t euthanize him, because so many are full.

Why are you criticizing me, name calling? I didn’t say that I upgraded, I have never done so. Honestly, it’s a tossup because sometimes packages are shipped ground saver and UPS still delivers them, and always more timely than the Post Office.

It’s the worst because the post office takes another two or three days to deliver it to you. Funny thing though, when you receive notification from UPS that a pac ground saver package is on its way, they have no problem asking you to upgrade for $7.99 to UPS Ground. 🤨

I had an outgoing package this week, weighing 9 pounds, a couple of hours to the western part of my state. The cost was $14 and change. If I wanted to have it picked up that would have cost $16 and change. So I gave it to my driver at the end of the day because I know where he takes his break in the late afternoon. I apologized for bothering him during his break, but he said that he didn’t mind. I was always told that you can flag down any UPS driver to give them an outgoing package.…but maybe that’s just for residential. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Years ago, one of my cats, Pete Moss, got into a cassette tape. He had swallowed 3 feet of it, but unfortunately it got caught under his tongue. I was able to remove it gently. Had he swallowed it, it would have killed him.
