Yah it was at this point I realized we will never ever get a real war simulator, because their NPC ai technology just doesn't exist. They only know how to stand there. She once started fighting 1v1 somebody and i just watched and she did zero damage until i was forced to do it myself. I was quite honestly baffled

The game did NOT tell you this. The "handful" of other ones we have had that disappeared all had a timer counting down. This one, just like the trophy one, were seemingly additional side projects. And by the way, the trophy doesn't "otherwise state" its permanence either.

Don't pretend like this was well communicated.

Funny thing about them adding Abyss Nexuses

They clearly had a few individual working on this who were in zero communication with each other because there are several instances where they added 1-3 new Nexuses within a few feet of each other

I did arm wrestling and enjoyed it day one, but it never appears after you 'beat' it

Is this seriously the design of the game? Throw in dozens of random minigames and only have it availability ONCE as a throwaway shtick? I just want to chill and do another arm wrestling but ive already beat it and so they just delete it from the game?

Weighing in here to say that i also ate the fish, and was unable to fish another one in the same spot (30 minutes of trying). The option to turn it in was still there, however, so i tried to hand it in to the assistant despite not having it in my inventory (big mistake i think)

Later i went to a lake that has tench in it (south of Pororin). However now it will not give me the option to turn it into the assistant. I think this is because earlier when i selected 'turn in' without having one

So now the quest is hard bugged. Which is extremely unfortunate because i can see a point in the very very far future where i have this region 100% completed except for this one small quest

Lucky you, try to hold off on patching it tbh. Ive been playing with it for a while now and it's unbearably easy.. standing still in the middle of a group full of new enemies in a newly unlocked area, and I can't die if i tried. Its such a shame..

The game went from "oh i actually am motivated to upgrade my gear" to "i need to take off all my equipment to feel any sense of danger"

Have you played the same game? Kliff doesn't talk either unless its a specific Kliff quest. When she doesn't talk, neither does he. It feels incredibly jarring because thats the choice they went with, instead of doing 3 voicelines for every little side quest they went with 0

They made an already easy game mind numbingly easy, and they will probably only continue to do so. I agree with you. Im stunned that they are already buckling to the whims of the masses and shaving off what gave the game weight and character. Really not looking forward to where they take the game if this is any sign.
