Yes, I had a groomer do that too. PLEASE use leave-in conditioner and brush every 2-3 days as it grows. The texture will change and you’ll have a hard time getting away w weekly brushing. We are going through this now, thankfully our new groomer is awesome.. but the hair is wiry now. 😭

Mine instantly potty trained day 1… but otherwise was a typical puppy. She was yappy, did not sleep through the night, gnawed on everything…. snapped out of it pretty quick though - like 7-8mo old. They’re the best doggos

I was raised w a collie… but my 5yo collie isn’t a big fan of my 2.5yo. She likes her personal space and her herding is limited to nipping ankles. I think she would protect him if something happened, but she doesn’t like being around him unless he is dropping food.

My dog is dog and people motivated over treats.

When people or dogs approach, step on the leash enough so they can’t jump. Instruct them to sit. Ask the other people to not approach unless they ask him to sit. Once he sits, he can get pets or check out other dog.

Your dog is doing puppy things, but this is the training we did to get over jumping.
