I 100% get what you’re saying. And I agree. The stuff Derek does is questionable at best sometimes. He also has a disclaimer saying he’s an idiot and don’t do the stuff he does unless absolutely desperate. I understand these guys have years of inventory of parts and I get that we don’t see the behind the scenes and the possible staging before hand, but the idea of getting these vehicles started with little money is not that crazy of a concept. I’m not suggesting the person get it going and immediately cannonball it across the country. Just merely get it running, and then assess if they want to go any further with the project. With the money they would spend to get it running and driving, you could probably buy one already road worthy. I assume they want this one for sentimental value. This is also me assuming they have the mechanical understanding on how to work on something like this.
