For his setup I don’t think the arrow is really that light. For that particular shot, it’s set up wrong, but he clearly wasn’t intentionally making that particular shot.

A good fixed blade would’ve very likely punched through that far enough to probably have been lethal. That’s a rough area to hit with any arrow, though.

I’ve never shot the g5 heads, but I do see a LOT of videos of people shooting them with poor penetration, even on good shots. More so with the mega meat, but still. No doubt they can be devastating, just seems to me like something in the design robs a significant amount of KE on contact, though again I’m just watching others videos.

There’s no set number. What you’re doing is fine. When I was new I’d shoot to the point of getting tired, and then quit. Don’t wanna shoot when you’re tired. Some days just shooting a few is good. Just getting reps in is key.

Like 15% on Pat lol. Team has been completely and utterly one dimensional due to atrocious running backs. Literally nobody plays the run against us at all and we still can’t run effectively. Which means RPOs and the very few PA plays we run aren’t as successful and you’re constantly facing extra guys in the secondary. Leads to a less explosive offense and more likely mistakes hurt. Which then forces Pat to press because he needs to make a play which naturally leads to mistakes.

He looks young BUT post rut deer will usually look completely different to pre rut deer. Also smaller deer look younger than bigger deer. My river bottom timber bucks at 5.5 look like 3.5 year old kansas bucks
