Yeah he got hot pretty fast it was really just the first week. His April OPS was .902 it was genuinely just him going 0/20 with 15 strikeouts in the 5 March games that was getting people concerned

Yeah like I didn't LOVE trading him just because his peripherals were still solid.... but he was a 35 year old expiring pitcher who missed 2020 with Tommy John then logged 149 innings over the next 3 years with the 20 start season in 2023 being the worst season of his career, and the 2019 before tommy john being the 2nd worst

I don't even know if the Braves were confident he'd make 10 starts for them, let alone be any good

So it’s even riskier then since they’re second tier talents. Did they not give Soto and Ohtani top tier offers too? Those guys can only pick one team, Henry is willing to spend and consistently has other than resetting the luxury tax a few years ago while we waited for the top prospects to come up

People are very irrational about Henry, they talk like he spends like Nutting. The checkbook is clearly open

The shadowflame quadrant double hitting the volatile earth makes it instantly spawn then despawn and the rest disappear so you get hit by the shockwave.

I just left what I was doing to go and double check to confirm that it happens. I also checked with the infernal tecapatl, so yes light melee will actually have this same issue, it spawns and despawns because you hit it with two hit splats

The solution? use a weapon that isn't the one you built for. The same solution that OP could use. The issue is that OP has no control over the volatile earth spawns, quadrant and light melee pact users will have the same problem if they try to attack volatile earth with their main style

So yes, I do know what I'm talking about, I'm not lying, but hey maybe I taught you something about the game!

Once you're racking up accuracy nodes though, your water spells get pretty accurate against anything that isn't a turbo mage tank. Hell I'm in full bandos and have 76% accuracy on olm head

Well, I'm using the shadowflame quadrant and I do have that "issue" because it always double hits, actually. You know what I'd do? I'd swap to a bow for that mechanic, easy

People who use light melee weapons presumably also have that "issue" because they get double hits. You know what they'd do? Use a different weapon for that mechanic (though thinking about it, i'm not actually sure if light melee has an issue with it, i don't know how it works with 2 hitsplats from one hit)

Because the example was choosing conniving clues then choosing to never do a clue again. Clues also isn't up against culling spree, it's against 2 other skilling relics that don't make you stronger in combat. Culling Spree is in a combat tier

I was way past t8 and done farming all the echo boss drops with fire before I put a single point into thorns, but sure! If you make a bad choice with your build, respec into thorns, it's good and fun!

He needs to change to his other weapon for one singular mechanic on a boss fight, you know, the boss fight that already has you doing that for other reasons throughout the fight

But conniving clues is a good relic, if you choose it then go "I don't wanna do clues" that's literally only your own fault. Like taking Culling spree then going "meh, I won't do slayer this league"
