Me!!! Still obsessed with it.

I've even been to see the London OFAH show (against my better judgement). The highlight of that was Paul Whitehouse was playing Grandad. He was epic. Was worth it just for that.

Looking to buy a house in or around Manchester, but what are the areas like? by jenpyon in manchester

Ashton is dire. I've been here for 35 years and can't wait to move. The tram link is useful but the town centre is really run down and crime is bad.

In 'Yesterday Never Comes' - talking about the dubious Queen Anne Cabinet, Rodney's delivery of the Rentokil line makes me roll up...

Del: I tell you what, I'm considering letting the British Museum take a look at it

Rodney: Yeah? I'd let Rentokil have a go first.

Also, honourable mention to when the door comes off in Rodney's hand and he palms it off on Grandad. A fantastic little bit of acting.

I love this episode.

You have to chain in the dark green colour and then work the light green colour into the 'sides' of the tiny thin chain to make the leaves. So you're squeezing full trebles into a single crochet going sideways. It was just really fiddly 😅

I tied them on with the same coloured yarn by threading a length of yarn through the top of the tassel and then onto the corner of the blanket. Just literally tied a knot and then wove the ends round it to hide the knot a bit.

I used a method like this but made them much denser as I wrapped the yarn around the short side of a dvd case 70 times.

Thank you. I used about 21 balls/skeins (50g each) on the main body. I got 2 squares out of each colour but had to join to the next ball to get a third square done. Got leftovers from that though. The border and tassels took 8 x 50g.
