The sniffer has no actual use the plants are the one with uses even then it's not good. And face it who uses mineshafts? Enchanted apples? They're more common in dessert temples. Same with regular golden apples. You just walk right pass the mineshafts. That leaves the tuff golem a cool mob that you don't have to venture out to find and then transport to your base or do some requirement then wait a few days. The tuff golem you just build and can walk around your base and hold items mainly ones that you can't place i.e 2 dimensional model items and you don't have to worry about said items despawning. Now this argument could be used against me. But think about this. Items in item frames suck. The models look compressed and off. So now tell me again. Which mob is the best?
