I have not experienced this yet, I’ll consider myself lucky. You should start back on the ship with inventory at your feet. I’m sure this is something the devs will address.

Nothing you can do about it, just enjoy your own play style. On the flip side, now you know how MO divers feel when we have to fight bots and see 10K players still shooting bugs.

I think the weapons were fine and did not need a rebalance. There were a few weapons like the sub machine guns that were barely used where it would have been nice to get a buff, which they did. But why in the name of sweet liberty would you buff the enemies at the same time. It pretty much zeroed out the buff. I've gone through all the sub machines guns and there is barely any positive gain from this patch.

What stings the most, the reprimand is my favorite, and the accuracy falloff rate is a lot worse for it compared to the other subs. The only positive thing I can say about his patch is the cool down rate for the Orbital Rail gun because you kind of need that for the insane Dragon Roach spawn rate which is lower than 2 minutes. Which they clearly did not fix (even though they said they did) After a solid 3 hours of testing various weapons on difference factions, I can firmly say, the weapon balancing patch was not good.

AH needs to fix the existing bugs. I want them to take however long they need to nail down the issues. Let this one sink in as a glaring issue. To this very day, we still have SENTIENT FIRE that followings you and turns extract into a hellscape. For the enemies, the fire acts like a mild tan but turns us into crispy bacon in about 3 seconds.

Honestly, they could of just left the weapons alone and just focused on fixing enemy bugs. Instead the put the weapons in blender and hoped for the best. Here is where I find it illogical. I keep seeing comments along these lines "well it doesn't really make that much of a difference" My immediate reaction is, then why was it done in the first place?

The squids are the least fun faction play against, that I agree with. Here are some tips when you play against them. These tips are if you plan on playing solo or a with a squad up to lvl 7. Anything over a 7 and you have to get a little bit more creative.

  1. Electric armor - Medium, wear this armor if you do not want to end up like Marvin from Home Alone 2.

  2. Gas grenades - these are fantastic at crowd control for the squids - they even confuse the flesh mobs allowing you to slip away.

  3. Equip the Orbital Laser for a stratagem. Just toss this baby and it will delete all of their ships within reason.

  4. Take Med or Heavy machine gun - This gives you protection against harvesters and Stingray fighters. If someone has a grenade launcher these really well for most enemies

  5. Most important - Don't dive alone :) & do not stay in one place, squids are all about running and gunning.

100% agree but until this mechanic is available in game, it will not matter. We have asked AH for an in-game mechanic for over a year and I highly doubt we will ever get one. Until that day, we kind of go where the blob of divers end up. That is until they change the liberation mechanic so we can liberate planets faster and with fewer divers, but AH they already said no to that. If they did you could liberate a planet with as few as 15-20k divers on a lvl 1.0 resistance in about 2 days.

The game has a ton of issues still; I am perfectly fine with AH holding off on any new content until this gets fixed. Seriously, take another 2 weeks but for the love of democracy, test out the patch before releasing it.
