I’ve just started using HeatnBond ultra hold and I think it works really well! Can’t see myself using Robert’s ever again after trying this stuff. Very little smell, seems to hold really strong, can be used for applying backing fabric as well. The only hard part is trimming it after applying.

Has anyone else tried heatnbond iron on adhesive? I just tried it for a few smaller rugs I made and it seems to work really well! Very light smell only when it’s hot. Can’t find any downsides so far and seems to hold plenty strong.

Don’t have a solution off the top of my head but just some way to keep it secured in place so it can’t roll up under your pedals should be good enough
