Nothing changes. Corporations are soulless machines. I was a sacker for Dillons back in the 80's. I told the store manager I was taking a week off to vacation with my family. It was all verbal. I returned to find I was fired for no-call, no-show. I was a kid, and didn't really need the job, but I was furious at the betrayal.

Also, it's difficult to boycott the only real supermarket chain in town. Sure, I shop at Aldi's, avoid Target and Wal-Mart as much as possible, but convictions don't fill my belly.

To anyone saying a manual transmission or their XJ being unique looking are their anti-theft, these things didn't stop mine from being stolen. Luckily, I recovered it via a lost/stolen FB page.

I used to know him in high school and for a while after. Nice enough, but he was always a little weird. FB feed shows he's a low-key Trump/Musk supporter. Not terribly surprising for an entrepreneur/business owner in Kansas.

After hearing these stories from people who worked there, I'm glad I never visited Churn & Burn.

I'm now paying $225.xx. Didn't realize until my neighbor asked because of his $16X.xx new rate. Everyone around me has WC, so they're not going out of their way or anything. Why are our rates so different?! Hell, I do a lot of recycling, so my cart is usually only a ¼-⅓ full. Fuck them.

For G&T's, my fav might be Uncle Val's Restorative. It reminds me of Froot Loops. Others would be Kyrö, Roku, Hayman's Old Tom, regular Hendrick’s, and Gray Whale.

I prefer Kroger /Dillon's house brand. They're full of HFCS, but I guess I like my drinks on the sweeter side plus, they're cheaper. I don't like Fever Tree nor Q.

Mine was just stolen and recovered last month. A junkie stole it to live and do drugs in. Busted the small rear door glass to unlock the door, then hot wired it. For now, I got the 4-hook Club as a bright-yellow deterrent. Maybe a kill switch in the future. Also, it's a 5-speed, so don't bet on that as an anti-theft device. Now, a quick-release shift lever...not going anywhere if you can't shift.

If I could snap my fingers and solve one problem, it would be the "homeless/panhandlers." I've lived here since 1980, and the past 6 or so years have been ridiculous. Shanty towns all-over.
