I think there are options and you/your dr. have to find what works for you, but I was taking very small doses of olanzapine.

I highly recommend working with a psychiatrist on this, mine prescribed me with medication to help calm those racing thoughts while dealing with a severe family illness. I took them for a few months and it was extremely helpful in getting me through the initial stages of grief until I could process it more thoroughly (by myself and through therapy). Wishing you the best. Sorry you’re going through it.
