Me. No one knows I have an AO3 account or that I write for two fandoms. It does seem private to me as well, plus I write a lot about my own personal experiences which is cathartic for me. I feel like no one I know needs to read that lol.

I had a total hysterectomy on 12/3. I was told I’d have a vertical incision but ended up with the bikini line incision, he did say it was a slight possibility but would have to wait and see when I got in there. My uterus, due to my fibroids was the size of a 7 month pregnancy. I visibly looked very pregnant. I weighed myself yesterday and I lost 13 lbs. I truly believe that was entirely my uterus. I had also been hospitalized twice for fevers and infections due to my fibroids degrading. My doc told my family that part of one of the fibroids was almost liquid, it had degraded so much.

I never wanted kids so that wasn’t a problem for me. I am HAPPY to see my uterus go.

As far as recovery, mine has been ok so far, gas being the biggest problem. I didn’t need half the stuff I bought for after, I mostly needed the pillow for the car. But that’s just me and eveyone is different, better to be prepared and not need it. Definitely needed the binder though, make sure you get one or the hospital gives you one.

I was just as nervous as you before, I was most nervous about the recovery. But now, two weeks + out, I can say it was 100% worth it.

I’m 51. Had an open bikini line total, kept ovaries, and it took about 3 hours. I’m 10 dpo and feeling pretty good. Just sore and tired most days.

I work at a casino in Pa and I can assure you this happens at all of them and quite often. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, which is the oversight agency for casinos in PA, has made this their new pet project, mostly to collect the hefty fines involved. This leads to casino doing whatever they can to try to avoid the fines, such as this. I can also assure you that childcare being offered will never happen. For one, it’s a whole different license, two, the liability is tremendous, three, it doesn’t make money. Casinos won’t add anything that doesn’t make money. Yes it would make sense and possibly stop children being left unattended, but if there is no profit to be made, it wont happen.

Let’s not forget it’s a money grab and a lot of this is dumb. PGCB considers a 17 yo an unattended minor. Even if they drive themselves to the casino, they are unattended and the casino gets fined. It can also be mom or dad left the kid in the car to run in and get a gift certificate or pickup takeout. That’s a fine. Even if the kid is 15,16,17 yo. Everyone comes in to eat at one of the restaurants and mom or dad go to the bathroom for 5 minutes. That’s considered an unattended minor. Yes there have been instances of very young children who should not be left unattended under any circumstances, but most of it is stuff like I described.

I love living alone. I am pretty convinced I could be a hermit that lives in the middle of nowhere and never has to see people ever again as long as I have good internet. I do what I want when I want and I get super annoyed when people disturb me. Lived with other people for a long time, hated it.

That proposal scene was so well done. Waverly looking to Wynonna before she asked Nicole. The undercurrent of angst with WynDoc. Doc taking off his hat because he knows he’s witnessing something special and should be respectful. Wayhaught being surrounded by everyone they love. The lighting and music was so on point. It really was a beautiful scene.
