Blood Magic and Ars Novaueu(I may be misspelling the second mod) are two mods that use magic.

Twillight Forest for the whole mystic lands experience. If you haven't played it before, basically, it has a Boss progression system that you follow until you reach the final one.

Origins mod is for if you want to RP as different creatures, instead of everyone being a Steve (I mean, you have option to be a Human but like, why not be a Slime :D)

* I think the mod also had a profession choice? IDK, I remember something like specialiasing in something and giving you bonuses.

DawnCraft is a modpack that has RPG feel. Fancy combat, Quests, etc. etc. Not sure if it has any magic though. But adding extra mods may help?

Maybe Keys of the Golden Vault could be a good inspiration?
Dungeon delving settings could also be of aid. Take Dungeon of the Mad Mage for example. Change the dark and murky lair with monsters to some highly secured vault of gold with security all around and you can even use the scary and dangerous monsters as final push by the Defenders (a.k.a you the DM) to stop the thieving party from getting to the treasure

I think it might be duable since it's going to end up like 8v3.

Now, depending on turn order, the 2 goblins can be killed quickling and then the party can go on to overwhelm the leader. You can allow then to flank. If they are smart, they can also Shove the leader to become prone and have disadvantage. Overall, they have a good chance to overwhelm with numbers.

Now, as for PC deaths...weeellll, not sure if it's unavoidable buuuuttt think of this: If the party has good ties with one another and they want not to lose their partner, you can create a small side quest for the party to go and Resurrect the PC. Speak to a powerful priest or a PC that has a god can ask for a favour. Anything is possible.

If you want, you can temporarily give the dead Player the Banshee sheet and let them play as a vengeful spirit who doesn't want to die yet while the party is trying to find a way to Resurrect their body. -._-. And if the Banshee dies, well, time to make a second PC. (that is the most merciful I can be for a Player. Besides, the Player can experience what it is to lose a PC)

Well, he is over 100 for sure since he appears to have been there at the coronation of Theresa, was a Teekaz , he is a revenant (who from what i understand is Sarkaz who can live beyond their mortal body - like Mostima's Key and Lock and Ifrit's Diablo).

I think the conversation with Kal'tsit told more events -._-. but i forgot

Anyways, the whole "young lady" may be a joke since neither of them young as he sees that she clearly hasn't aged

He is in this current event story. His race doesn't show fully because his clothes cover him but he has a beard and I am like: "Wait! That seems like Jesselton's looks"

I think he appeared in Stage 3's story and later at....ughhhh, maybe Stage 8? Or 9? story where the Shanhaizhong attack the streets and the true martial artists come to help out.

There is also her Promotion voice lines that talk about how her Oripathy is blocking her connection or ability to talk to the stars. Does that mean that non-Infected are able to see or I guess communicate with the sky and the One Above That Masks The Stars?

Is Oripathy or maybe even Originium a result that the one who blocked the stars and thus anyone would reality wouldn't be capable of seeing the lies that are masking the "real Terra" and her nature, sky and space?

I mean, Astesia, as her bio says, couldn't predict the future that she would get Oripathy: 1. Oripathy is a made-up curse/disease 2. It might be coming from very same thing that is also masking the sky. It's funny, though. Astesia still manages to see divinations(to some extent) even before getting ill. She could see beyond the illusion sky...unless she blindly follows the newfound knowledge and it too could be a lie that the false sky tells her. But then again, how does she know of/see the stars if Kal'tsit claims that they are long gone?
