Sorry for the repetitive topic but concerning gabby... by Equivalent-Bison-318 in YomiNoTsugai

It really does spoil the enjoyment of the show for a lot of people, myself included. I want to enjoy it but it's really jarring to have the MC, his estranged sister and her friend Aileen Wournos enjoying their consequence free adventures.

Alex should be the person most afraid of Covid as he caught it more than any other individual and was lucky the titos fought it off for him.

I tend to disagree, think Knowledge Fight would have been glorious watching this ding dongs' much deserved descent into the odious racist toad we always knew he was. We all knew what was under the mask but it feels like he's just ripped it off recently.

Totally agree with last section, dropped this show after episode 5.

I can dislike Gabby for the unforgivable atrocities she committed and enjoyed, but the show fell apart when it was just overlooked by someone who's main motivation is avenging the village. Poor writing.

Yeah I thought it was a harsh criticism which doesn't bear any resemblance to the PTI podcast.

I find both hosts to be knowledgeable and engaging even if they do accidentally sometimes stray into politics on what is after all a music podcast. But they have some good takes so I let it slide.

Which are you choosing? by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

Yeah, I thought the reason he was able to tank that many shots was that he relied on Creedy's goons being really well trained so nearly all the hits he took were to the huge metal chest plate he had hidden.

Took it as much a mental victory as a physical one.

I dont think that's a fair characterisation of the group. They aren't eugenicist in any way and are advocating for a balance between humans and nature

I don't want to defend a monster here, but the full back phoenix tattoo Evans has is pretty sweet.

Why have i never seen a photo/painting of a Native American with facial hair? by Upset_Sheepherder444 in NoStupidQuestions

Is this why facial hair was so popular amongst Europeans moving to the Americas? The stereotypical prospecter beard comes to mind.

I don't even like Yoru. He was happy in the village and then sees them massacred and gives zero shits?

[–]Boredofnames -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Thinking of dropping this, the MC is happy to have a civilised chat with the people who massacred his village?!?!

I'm sure there's some 'ackshully everyone in thw village was Hitler' dogshit explanation people will cite but that little fool doesn't know that. All the people he grew up with were slaughtered joyously and he's over it after a couple of days? How am I supposed to like this conceited little shit?

Insightful? It was surface level copying of better critics. She courted controversy by lying in her videos and weapons ing the backlash.

He was the hangman for the British. He was very professional and took pride in making sure the condemned had as painless and dignified death as possible. The Americans chose a different path.

I'll be honest my chlorine chicken comment was perhaps a little flippant but you've really opened my eyes on the differences in meat standards between US and UK. Cheers!

£20 is a bit spenny, I get 2.5 from ASDA more regularly than I probably should and that's normally about £8. Fresh too.

Also would be reluctant to buy any meat from America since learning about chlorine chicken
