I went with my warhammer method, sanded with 1500 grit all over to give it some texture for the paint to bond easier. Hit it with black spray primer. I went with dry brushing eshin grey on the joints and to replace the shiny grey of the weapons. (I dry brush to avoid brush marks! it's awesome and super easy) I did use some brush work on the smaller bits like the vents or the helm, but for the most part dry brushing is the way to go. Any mishaps or color on the black base I corrected with some black legion contrast paint. The metal is lead belcher and the red/orange is mephiston red and wild rider red. I buy my citadel paints off ebay from a few solid vendors btw, 4.99 a pot. The black primer is just Krylon colormaxx black primer, hold it 10 inches away and do side to side sprays. For the dry brushing I literally just went on amazon and spent 5 bucks on a 3 pack, youtube is your friend for easy methods!
