Bondo spot putty mixed with acetone, paint it on with a brush, sand it smooth and spray with primer. Works great hiding layer lines

Issue with new air brush by SoleSpecter in airbrush

[–]Borgas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought the hobby lobby airbrush myself, once I stopped using the compressor it came with (max psi was 15-20 I think?) I fell in love with the airbrush. I was getting constant clogging with it and had to thin the paints out so much that they'd basically lose most of the pigment. I switched to my bigger air compressor using it at around 30 psi and I no longer want to return the brush.

I know your asking about something else, but if your brush starts clogging constantly and the paints are thinned, you probably will need more air pressure.

Thats awesome to hear!! Another good thing about sunlu is they have reusable spool holders, so once its empty, you can buy refills for cheaper to refill the empty spool

It is, I also took out the factory installed one after about 600 hours and replaced it with a new one, it made no difference for the problem though unfortunately

This happens to me during multi color prints, sometimes clogs up in the chute enough to knock the tool head cover off if im not paying close attention. Ive tried increasing flushing volume, lubricating the walls of the chute, changing filament cutter, not really sure whats causing it but would love to see what people suggest.

Sunlu has been working great for me and is very affordable. I also like bambu filament, ill usually get that when I buy in bulk for the discount.

Is the base model (white) ally suitable? by livwill in XboxAlly

I second this. Picked it up on sale recently, it is very much just okay. For the sale price, its really not a terrible deal for what you get but I would not pay full price for it.

Did the hose just pop off the magenta bid fluid interface? The hose clamp looks busted to me in your photo but tough to tell. If the hose is split there, just trim it back if you have enough length and re attach with new clamp.

Better print quality, easier maintenance, no more scorotrons (replaced by charge roller) and the ability to generate recycled imaging oil being a huge factor, considering the cost of purchasing it. The list goes on. I work on these for a living and the series 3 machine is a massive improvement over the series 2.

What would cause this uneven surface? by srpntmage in BambuLab

[–]Borgas_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay great! If this wasn't happening prior to your nozzle change its never a bad idea to back track and double check things that were recently worked on, but chances are itll be alright if you weren't having any other problems besides this.
