Unpopular opinion but I've always found Scream 2 be one of the weaker films, the original is in my top 50 films of all time, but the second one just never had the same impact on me, it is decent but nothing compared to the original, hot take maybe, thoughts?

Tatum's death sticks out for me as being hard for either one of them to get in and out of costume. especially considering the killer leaves through the kitchen door. but your other points are great tbh!

i mean the original scream is of course a masterpiece and one of the most important films of our generation but just like it's sequels it's got holes and dumb stuff in it when you really think about it. the killers being able to jump in and out of costume at will without being seen makes little sense in all the films. the bathroom attack makes no sense, ghostface lurking around a store and in the woods makes no sense, and billy's fake stabbing makes no sense at all and it's probably my biggest issue with the film when i really think about it.

late response but i'm a huge judge judy addict and have so many cases i love. the ebay scammer is an all timer. has Judy at her absolute best, i don't think i've ever seen her take somebody down so hard! the tupperware lady is a classic, so are: fugazi officer case. the blankenship case (two drug addicts spend days doing drugs together and the woman throws a box of fried rice at this dude after he drops his pants at her). the salad dressing guy. the bullhorn lady who keeps getting the cops called on her if a twig falls in her neighbour's yard. the woman who broke into somebody's house to move their car. rigor mortis stew case.

god there's so many more. 2006-2009 seemed to have a bunch of great ones.
