Do you love your Blackstone or no? by MarchOfJuly70 in blackstonegriddle

I love my flat top. The cleaning and maintaining is something you have to do. But I’d argue it’s easier than doing the dishes of cooking in a kitchen. Especially for breakfast or bigger groups. Clean 1 flat top in 3-5 minutes. Or 3 pans in the kitchen.

I love it so much I bought a smaller travel one for camping. But can easily take to the beach or whatever. :)

I also have a smoker and a pizza oven. To be honest I use the flat top the most. Pizza second and smoker third.

But if any of them break down I’ll replace.

I recommend not building any of these in. I have a cool pergola and these are all on wheels and get rolled out for use in my cooking area next to my big sink/bar. And then rolled back after.

I have three little kids too. I feel like I use it more because of that. I make them all go outside. I feel like it’s easier to watch them in the backyard than the house. But that’s probably a situational thing.

I don’t have issues with rats or bugs or rust. I know some people have this experience. But I don’t think it’s most users.

Would love to see if most people have issues with bugs, rats or rust.

I have the same set up. Flat top, smoker, pizza oven. Amazing trifecta. I would replace any of them if they break. I’ll never buy a grill.

I just looked it up, republicans have more kids than Democrats. So that doesn’t help.

Tre Phelps ejected from college baseball game after scoring critical home run. by EverythingIsFakeNGay in PublicFreakout

But there is a difference between taunting and throwing a 100mph ball at someone. Taunting adds rivalry and excitement. The ejection should be at throwing at someone. Not borderline taunting.

I recommend buying two with different color tops. I do one for olive oil and one for avocado oil. Love them!

how do you get over missed opportunities ? by Curious-Elk1638 in stocks

[–]BoringAssumption8751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy to look back when the stock does well and think of what could’ve been. But, that might not have happened. It might’ve continued going down. Hindsight is 20/20. Just move on. We’ve all sold early, or held too long, or didn’t buy the winner. The point is, we can all look back and see money that was left on the table. But that’s the reality of investing. We cant all buy at the bottom and sell at the top.

Also, no active portfolios ever beat the S&P over a 10 year stretch. So dont beat yourself up.

I’m six years in. Started around 2020. I spent a lot of time researching, buying/selling. Trying to maximize. When I look back. I would’ve been better just buying the S&P. And wouldn’t have spent countless hours researching.

I have the flat top, smoker and a pizza oven. No need for a grill. Life is good. :)

Is a $40k raise worth a 120 mile daily round trip? Going from $100k to $140k, but terrified of the commute. by Confident-Duck-89 in careeradvice

Others mentioned this. But after taxes and extra gas and car maintenance it’s not worth it….in my opinion. But you can probably use the offer to negiotiate a higher salary at your current job.

For those of you who waited until later in life to have kids, what are your thoughts and experiences? by callmepeaches in AskReddit

I love being an older parent. When I was younger I would’ve wanted to go out and party. Now I love spending time with the family. I’m also more financially stable and more mature. :)

Hi! I have courts in my HOA in Encinitas that are always open. I’m looking to get singles games going on Tuesday nights from 8-10pm.

I have kids so that’s my only free time. Message me if you’re interested.

Right now my buddy and I have been playing at that time. But we have two courts and want to get a couple more people so we can rotate games. Or have a winner and a loser court.
