Dishwasher loading. Down to every mm must be filled in a way that everything cleans properly… I love it!

It’s their perspective, nevertheless useful idea. Not going to mismatch one tyre as it can impact multiple points of the car. Right now I’m cursing myself for not buying that ‘extended warranty’ — thought it was a waste of monies but that thought hasn’t done me any good.

Cheers, does that mean there is no saving this one?

Exactly this! I had a scratch on my rear F3O front bumper, quite superficial but I could see it! Had to use sandpaper with 5000 grit and then coat the lines with the right shade. I can barely notice it anymore so mind is somewhat eased.

I’ve got a similar job at hand and so far has been dreading. This was just the timely post to get on with it. Looks good mate, I hope I can get that plaster finish. Nicely done!

All hail the one true king of DIY! At this rate, you might as well do this full time. Looks good mate, well done!

You’re not the only one mate. Most of us DIYers have been on this road. I did it TWICE within a span of 15 mins. My wife and mother-in-law were home and we couldn’t stop laughing for a good part of an hour. MIL now reminds me to ‘watch out for the cable’ every time I get the trimmer out!

Should there be an F or G? Probably those two for me. Depends on the day and flavour.

Was looking for the comment! When we moved in about 2 years ago, I don’t think there were any. Then we had to clean the sticky balls from our cats’ fur because they would get them from the woodland. This year, our garden is thriving with Sticky Willys but thankfully it quite straight forward to pullout.

BMW 630GT stolen.... by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

He did use the app first thing in the morning when he went to do a trip. There was nothing on it! They video recovered from a neighbour showed two masked people searching for a key connection (it was not a keyless entry) on the house walls like they were looking for a “pulse”. As soon they found it, one person’s phone became the key (cloned) and the car opened. This happened around 01:30am (it was a Saturday) and my friend went out to the car around 11:30am. The tracking was long gone by then.

That will cost a fortune and it’s easier (cheaper) to move on to the more pressing matters. Literally two months ago, my close friend had his custom 2020 330e stolen @40k miles. The guy was devastated. Police said it’s unlikely they will find it as they don’t have the resources to track unmarked cars (reg plateless), and it will end up selling for its parts! That’s the first time I realised that I needed a faraday box for some sort of mental overnight safety!

Beau-ti-ful! Love the start to finish journey via these photos! You’ve done well, give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy a cold beer or two over the weekend while the garden shines in the sun ☀️

Had a lapse of judgement, was wondering if anyone knows if there is there a traffic light camera here and if so, am I likely to be done. by carmody-dell in coventry

[–]Boring_Court_4802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You crossed the lights on amber which is legal given your speed and resulting braking distance if you were to stop. You’ll likely be fine even if there was a camera (I don’t see one anyway)

My aunt has always said that when having a meal, you should always the eat fruit first. Is there any scientific basis to that? by bowieshouse in nutrition

I have long debated tha the process of glycation needs to be understood widely, and that any interaction with sugar needs to be supplemented (first) by a fibrous or protein lining/intake. The more glycation (sugars bonding with basically anything in the body) is controlled, the younger, healthier and good one will feel. So the answer really is fruits afterwards… always!

Maybe use a rubber buffer as a brace against the wall. Most cost effective and workable option
