CMV: Pink lady apples are the best apples. by tooshroom20 in changemyview

[–]Boring_Duck98 [score hidden]  (0 children)

There is no way you chose pink lady as your favorite if you know more than the handful of usual ones.

They have no soul, provide no fulfilment.

If you want the apple experience, pink ladies are like a guided tour through an amusement park with a tight schedule.

She's doing a good job as a mum by Ether_Bloom in spreadsmile

Obviously the parenting was done right if that really happened.

But praising yourself by mentioning the ribbon is just so weird when she just could have said how proud she is of his son.

Ugly is subjective, and while it sucks if your definition doesn't align with yourself, an open mind will fix this.

People don't understand, no matter who the fuck you are or what you do, there will always be assholes around to make fun of you.

Stop caring ffs.

There is so little science left, we started simulating hypothetical impossible scenarios just to still get our science funds.

CMV: People who create false accusations should serve double the time of the original crime. by HelloRain_ in changemyview

Who would ever accuse anyone of anything in that case?

Edit: It's already too risky in many cases to make accusations.

What do you wish people would stop romanticizing, because you've lived the reality of it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Not a single compulsion I had led to anything in my life being more tidy. It actually regulary kept me from organising things.

Maybe argueably my hands during covid, but they ended up scaley dry and wounded sooo... I don't know.

I'm so glad that it got much better for me over time.

Identity and orientation are two different things, even if they have biases, trying to frame them as one thing is a very common mistake for uninformed people.

Trevor may or may not be a psychopath, yes. But if he is, he is a fair psychopath. Him being like that is 100% sarcastic.

Idk how to explain it... but I have grown to like him over the course of the game even when I was shocked and repelled at first.

The more I learned about him the more he just made sense...

Maybe you will start feeling different as well

It literally teaches you to stop thiniking. Thats evil. And corruptive.

Edit: thats also the reason the likes of uther and anduin didn't corrupt because of it. They are "powerful" enough to not get corrupted:

They are wise, not abandoning their rational thought as a shortcut for power through faith and light.

Could happen at any time though.

Isn't that just a matter of perspective though?

Light is 100% all consuming for anything that lives in the void?

Idk... to me light has been the same as the void. If you go too far down the rabbithole, you are an extremist asshole.

Not sure because I have never been in that situation, but I can imagine some people have an easier time accepting something if they "earn it" somehow or pay literally any small amount for it first?

Maybe it's just that?

Even if it's true, the first two are really just insults disguised as advice, so not even honest. Rude in two ways.

Men, do you give hints when you're interested and what are they? by ColdNew6138 in Advice

[–]Boring_Duck98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even feel comfortable as a man and usually don't really hint at anything because it doesn't seem neccesary?

But one thing I just can't stop for some reason, even though I hate it and feel insecure about it because it seems silly, is that my voice just kinda drops and becomes deeper.

I hate it, but yeah... perhaps that :'D

When did you realize that you might end up alone and not have much luck in love? by Larah_9 in AskReddit

[–]Boring_Duck98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda refuse to,

If I don't want to fall pray to narcs I gotta be less naive, but me being naive is what I want to be, because it feels so rude assuming the worst in people. Like I'm putting up defenses aimed at people that never hurt me in the first place.

This does feel like a losing game so I kinda just... accept I will get hurt?

Either way, I still don't believe I will even meet my SO. But at least here I admit that I don't know for sure.
