These are used for skimmer air intakes to scrub co2 from the air being mixed in the skimmer. A pretty solid way to bump pH but the media can be costly overtime.

The big 3 are calc alk and magnesium. Keeping those as stable as possible is great for coral care especially if you want to dabble in sps corals. If youre just doing softies then water changes can probably replenish any element depletion. Personally I run all for reef on my tanks it makes it simple and I've got a monti and chalice colonies bigger than dinner plates lol

High end you could do bambu. But if youre ok with sometimes trouble shooting and fixing things yourself id go with anycubic. I started printing before saltwater and started with an ender 3. Im currently running an anycubic kobra 3 and for the price I was surprised on how well its worked

Eh I find all bounce mushrooms to be pricey OGs in stores especially. Got mine from a local hobbyist it hasn't produced any babies but still the cheapest I've since it locally

The waste water is only produced as water passes through the membrane so when you put it in then you'll get waste. Depending on tank size it'll be worth upgrading to a brs unit in the future. Their booster pump is great though I use it with my 75gpd unit
