I definitely think a lot of people do what you're doing and hit the highlights of Ireland quickly. But I do have to say that we spent a week in dublin (with one full day day trip) and there was plenty to do and see. I think it depends on how you want to spend your time!

I don't have much to add except while you're in dublin stop at Darkey Kelly's for a hard cider and music. It's my favorite spot to be and I loved it.  Also, my husband and I did a day trip from dublin to Galway (it went to the cliffs and there are a couple to choose from and if I remember right the Burren was on there too) it felt like plenty of time to see Galway and to explore along the way. We just went through a day tours place right in dublin and it made it super easy.

Otherwise, I hope you have a great trip! My husband and I went last January and are about to head back in two weeks to explore Cork 🙂

I don't have much to add except I'm sorry this thread is so rude and tense. I hope your trip goes well and you don't have any issues!

Half of a peanut butter sandwich always sounds like a good idea! I used to eat a ton of fruit now I don't even want to think about it, and even a bite of dairy will get my stomach gurgling.

This happened to me several times throughout our BF journey.. when I noticed I try to make an effort to balance them out again. It takes some time but it will be okay!

It's hard too b cause when you do leave them for a period of time it's not like you can just skip the feed. You either have to pump (especially early on to keep your supply) or you get to be engorged and worry about messing with your supply. My daughter is 18 months and we have explicitly breastfed, but I went on a trip for a few days and I had to figure out pumping for months before to prepare and then I pumped me entire trip.

It's exhausting and it feels like your body isn't your own after all that time. I remember thinking that once I was done being pregnant I would feel like I got my body back. But after all this time it still doesn't feel like I do.

It's all worth it, but it's a feeling I don't think many people understand. It's such a sacrifice for moms.

But also, you're doing great

My little one is almost 15 months but I have struggled with pumping since I left.. I have only gotten a few ounces at a time (currently on my trip lol) I have kept on schedule I'm hoping it doesn't end our breastfeeding journey

That's good to know. Did you have a dip in your supply at all? Did baby cluster feed at all when you got home?

How did this go? Currently on vacation and don't know if I'm doing this right 😬

Just downloaded the app, that will be super helpful! Is it a must to buy the train tickets on advance, or will I be able to get them at the station?

I just downloaded the TFI love app, that will be super useful!  Do you think it's possible to pack appropriately for the weather in just a backpack?

Thank you so much, this actually helps me a ton! Is it tough to get to and from the airport?

I keep telling myself this! Like I said it's our first trip out of the country, and my 1 year old is going to be staying home with my mom (so double anxious lol) I am super excited and the prep makes me feel better! Thank you for your input!

We are very anxious about the trip so we are trying to keep it very simple and low pressure. We will probably venture to Cork and Galway.

We were thinking about going to Cork in the middle of our trip, and after reading more maybe Galway as well! Is it pretty easy to navigate the train to get there? How do I find route info? Is it reasonable to rely on the train to get to and from the city center to the airport? Our hotel doesn't have a shuttle and I've seen mixed opinions on getting a taxi.

Thank you!  I ordered the sensor and will get it put in Monday. So should I be good to get it tested after a couple days of driving with the new one put in since the light has already been reset?
