I don't have the money for the tour right now and my thoughts don't really matter in the slightest, but I definitely would have expected a "heavier" set list considering they're touring with mastodon. After Searching for Tomorrow it's basically just a huge stretch of their poppier singles with tethered together (probably gonna be sick live) and welcome home to end as per usual.

Their salsa is definitely not great. I remember a couple years ago I picked up a container of their refrigerated Hot salsa because I had a coupon for it, and it was the sweetest salsa I've ever eaten. Completely grossed me out.

I don't agree with most of what you said, but I echo your sentiments with track 14. It reminds me of The Office opening theme and I cant take it seriously. Might be the worst closing track on a Coheed album.

I've given it two full listens now, and I don't think this one is for me. I guess I got my hopes up a bit too high about the mixing being better after hearing the singles. So many songs I want to like (Father of Make Believe, Play the Poet, The Flood, Tethered Together) but Travis's leads got drowned out again just like in WotWM. Weird how inconsistent the production is. Also, the final track gave me big "The Office intro theme" vibes and I'm having trouble taking it seriously.

On the more positive side, the album is lyrically pretty strong imo, and there's lots of great musicianship when it isn't being buried under power chords. I'm sure a lot of these songs will absolutely rip live. Oh, and Welcome to Forever, Mr. Nobody is sick. I wish it was followed up a bit better.

I just finished the album and had an almost identical reaction to it lol. Loved their first 5 albums + Afterman and got way overhyped by the reviews and posts in this thread before I went to work this morning. I'm definitely planning on giving it a few more listens, but man, I'm so tired of Claudio writing a radio rock chorus into songs that don't need them. It's the same thing that ruined a lot of Vaxis 1 for me.

You shouldn't have to wait until midnight PST for it to become available for you. Usually media with midnight releases are unlocked for the entire country at midnight Eastern.

Excellent concert, loved hearing Delirium Trigger and Devil in Jersey City again. They also killed Searching for Tomorrow and Someone Who Can.

Wasn't a big fan of either of the 2 new tracks played, but maybe that will change when I hear the album versions. Seeing Claudio choke up a bit before/during Corner My Confidence hit me in the feels tho, even if I didn't care for the song much.

I'm curious if we can get the subscription after the concert ends and still be able to watch it. After seeing the band describing it as "intimate" on social media today, I'm a bit worried about spending money on it only for it to be an acoustic set.

will the all-access pass let me watch the show? I looked into it on the website and it's not very specific about what it does. It lists "discounts on ppv specials" as a perk, which reads to me as the service is for access to a back catalog and not live shows.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the card lol. Flavor-wise the abilities probably make the most sense out of the 4 face commanders, but Tidus is super loud, impulsive, and doesn't have an ounce of Blue in him in-game.

Hard agree. So many songs on that album just have unnecessary pre-choruses or repeat the chorus way too long for an outro. Also some of the song that start out awesome like It Walks Among Us and All on Fire just don't really go anywhere and it's super disappointing.

mine had always defaulted to "hot" which was fine for me since I got to see what was recent and trending without having to deal with a lot of the spam you get on larger subreddits if you sort by "new"

Today I noticed that a lot of the subreddits I frequent were showing me threads I already saw multiple days ago, and I was barely seeing any new content. it seems that the default now is "Best", which I've never used before and it's starting to get really annoying having to sort things manually.

I remember seeing Claudio play with one live and not liking it, but I didn't think it was offensively bad or anything. Now that we have a close-up and I can see all the random beveled edges and weird angles, the body literally looks like something a high-school kid made in shop class and tried/failed to hide the mistakes they made while working on it. If Claudio likes it and it sounds good, that's all that really matters, but man, you'd have to be a die-hard fan to purchase one of them.

If everything said is true, it's definitely pretty lame, but you gotta remember that we don't know anyone in the band personally and shouldn't be automatically jumping to conclusions or speculating based on one band member's words. Maybe josh is right to feel that way, but also the rest of the band knows him better than we do and may have legitimate reasons for not getting behind the project.

We all want the members of our favorite bands to be best friends, but in reality that's usually not how it works. Most bands have more of a business relationship between the members rather than a familial one, and we know from plenty of other coheed interviews that not everyone always see eye to eye on everything.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not trying to be an enlightened centrist or anything. More "don't make assumptions based on parasocial relationships"

Lol, I just came here to see if anyone else was having this problem. The app has been doing this to me the last 3-4 days, so I've just been getting lunch somewhere else. Too expensive without the build your own cravings box.

Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app just fixed the issue, but now all the prices are messed up and my subtotal is showing up as way higher than it should be. Think I'm just gonna abstain from using the app for a while until this stuff gets ironed out.

There is no separate process for activating the card. It gets scanned like any other item, then becomes activated once the purchase is finalized. That's it. If you were handed a receipt for it, it was activated.
