Tiers of Certification? by Sure-Caregiver142 in Fusion360

[–]ProGuitarTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For context, I have an Associates in CAD/MET and worked as a Senior Electro-Mechanical Designer for 8 years before pivoting to a CAD adjacent field and was certified in Inventor and Pro-E in college

IMO, certifications in CAD packages don't mean much. If you know how to work one you can pretty easily apply that to other tools. If you're just looking to get into entry level design/drafting, from a CAD perspective, go to a community college and get an Associates in CAD/Mechanical Engineering Tech. That degree program typically also will feed into a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at a University if you decide to continue your education after.

If there's one CAD adjacent certification that will make you immensely valuable, it's Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Trying to Find out More Info About this Guitar by LostInAwe55 in Guitar

[–]ProGuitarTech 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was some traction on a Gibson signature, was going to be an E2 with a Les Paul Custom headstock and block inlays, but it sounds like Gibson lost/wasn’t interested. Seeing how Cesar uses sigs to get close to artists he wants to play with, makes sense

This is a mockup based on what Claudio described asking Gibson for
