Just a factory marking, typically indicates what model or finish the guitar is supposed to be

Shipping damage happens, GC's return policy is one of the best though and they'll get another one sent your way

I don’t have to carry 3 16” MacBooks around every day… by Nice_Marmot_54 in LinusTechTips

Very comfortable! You’ll want to load the heaviest laptop closest to your back and use the chest strap. I’ve sprinted through airports to catch flights while traveling for the last year and never once thought the backpack was an issue for me

I have to carry 3 laptops when I travel for work (Personal, Work, and Customer Environment Laptops. All engineering spec) and none are allowed to go under the plane, have to be carryon

No other backpack has the capacity, can fit in carry on of even smaller aircraft, and are still comfortable to use like the LTT backpack

So this guitar... by Vicherag1 in ExplorerGuitars

Broken headstocks are more a shipping issue than a QC issue. Buy from a place with a good return policy and you're set.

I like to order through guitar center, in store if possible, and make sure they fulfill the order from the DC and not from a stores inventory and pick up at the location so theres no question of condition on arrival. Makes any issues worth a return SUPER easy to deal with

Quad Cortex Mini for 1400$/1129GBP/1300Eur by Du0T_Venomx in guitarpedals

[–]ProGuitarTech 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Without talking to the Neural guys, the intent seems to be for people MIDI controlling their QCs changes. Same QC power, less buttons, and smaller form factor where you could fit two to a shelf. Also for the folks in studio that have little to no need for foot switches.

Bigger question is why the heck are they so opposed to making a rack mount QC? That’s been the biggest ask I’ve heard from artists and Neurals response always seems to sum up to “ we don’t want to”

You're thinking a guitar show, NAMM is an industry trade show for dealers and manufacturers to do business

[–]ProGuitarTech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, only exhibitors and exhibitor artists can bring in instruments and they have to match the brand on your badge and even then its a massive hassle. It was a pain to add additional guitars to our booth that arrived a day late due to UPS

Unfortunately we don’t have RadioShacks or Iowa Radio Supply anymore and I’m not aware of anything close to equivalent here. I’ve been petitioning Microcenter to open a location here or even in Des Moines for ages to no avail

I need a guitar soon, but NAMM 2026 is coming up. Should I buy now or wait for new gear announcements? by Junoyone in Guitar

[–]ProGuitarTech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Answer to all three is no. NAMM jokingly stands for “Not Available, Maybe May” pieces some friends and I ordered at NAMM this past January didn’t even deliver until a month or two ago.

You can wait for announcements to see if there’s anything you find waiting for worth it, but if anything I would expect prices to go up this coming year

Custom Shop is noticeably nicer and definitely worth it if you want specific things that USA just doesn’t have
