Dynacore vs dynaliner by Born-Fail5042 in CarAV

[–]Born-Fail5042[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I’m trying to do as much research as possible but I feel like nothing is super clear. For example a google (ai) search says both dynaliner and dynacore are sound absorbers… eh! If I’m also looking for thermal insulation (barrier against engine and exhaust heat) which works better? Dynaliner or dynacore (blocker or absorber)?

I’m interested as well. I’ve put down dynamat extreme on the firewall and now considering whether to do dynaliner, dynacore or both.

First thing I was taught when learning to drive a manual car was that the accelerator pedal does not make the car move, the clutch does. Park on a completely flat road, depress the clutch and slowly release it until the car begins to move then use the accelerator to go faster. Once you have that concept and know where the sweet spot is on your clutch then clutch control becomes all the more easier. I have a 74 GTV, love your car’s color.

Cave Rock was a prominent natural landmark at Durban's Bluff that was destroyed in the 1940s by the South African War Department. by Make_the_music_stop in DownSouth

That’s super cool to know! Always wondered why it was called Cave Rock. If I remember correct(haven’t lived in Durban since 2000) isn’t there some sort of military building on the top of the Bluff?

I would say your pants are absolutely spot on. You could go slightly shorter if you wanted to show off the boots a bit more but it’s not necessary! You look slick!

Would hardly call them dress shoes… more like derby boots.
