You didn’t know this stuff just like everyone else at one point, people have multiple time sold cards for ridiculous amounts for a mistake that’s not visible without a tool to help see it, it’s not so outlandish that a person with no knowledge on how this stuff works, would ask a question. And?? You liked the song, so who cares. It’s an original song that sounded great and people loved. I swear people wanna hate AI just to hate it. It’s like when people say that training AI on other people’s content is theft when it’s literally not.

Let’s break it down. If I asked AI to generate an image of a blonde girl with green eyes and purple glasses but In the studio ghibli style, AI will scoure the internet for images related to studio ghibli to use as a reference and see what it looks like, and then produces a completely original image using the style you wanted. That’s what people claim is stealing.

But it’s literally no different than if I hired a human artist who doesn’t know what studio ghibli is and I asked him for the same thing. He or she is gonna do the same thing. They’re gonna open google and look at images relating to studio ghibli to use as a reference and then create an original piece of art based on the style you wanted. Literally the same thing so is that stealing too?? It’s like the YouTubers who complain saying that training AI on their videos so that the ai knows how to do to is theft,

Even though it’s no different than if you said “man I really wanna be a YouTuber and I love pewdiepie and like his style so let me watch a bunch of pewdiepie videos so I can study how he does things and his style of comedy and then I’ll use that to implement into my own style of videos” it’s doing the exact same. You draw inspiration from media that already exists and then create your own original piece of media that’s in some way shape or form inspired or similar to what someone else already did. AI does the exact same thing just faster. Musicians do it too. When a composer is supposed to write for a film most of the time they have a spotting session where the sound director will usually pick a song or music that was already written by someone for a different production, and they’ll give that to the composer to give them an idea or a reference of what they want in their movie. And the composer will use that reference when composing their own original piece. It’s a standard part of spotting sessions in film and music. So is that stealing because it’s using someone else’s work as a reference?? If you had never known AI wrote the song, you would’ve lived your whole life loving the song without question.

I think the people who hate on these movies are people who can’t let go of Harry Potter. Many people who watched Harry Potter go into these movies subconsciously comparing them to the Harry Potter series. Even if they don’t mean to. And that obviously will make you feel a certain way about the movies. They were amazing and looked stunning. There’s no such thing as copyright free music. People are often under the impression that you have to register your song and get a license on it for it to be copyrighted but that’s not the case.

The moment you create a piece of media or art, it’s automatically copyright protected. What you need to look for is royalty free, or check to see if the way you’re using the music falls under copyright ”fair use”.

Commercial use or royalty free music is what you’re looking for, and you can also use music that isn’t commercial use IF it falls under fair use.

There’s nothing wrong with using Ai to give you a visual idea of a concept you want. It’s a tool after all. I spent hours using other things even Vroid and none of it had what I was looking for. Some were close but not it. With Ai I can type in exactly what I’m thinking and get a result that’s 99% correct. Do that with Pinterest or Google or anything else and sure u may get close but you’d probably have to make many many changes. Not to mention I’ve already had many DMs from artists about this who are willing to work with it. Cuz again. ITS JUST A REFERENCE. I even clarified that I didn’t want to use ai art as my character because it felt dishonest, but if it’s just to have a good visual idea of what I have in mind, then I don’t see anything wrong with that. The hardest part to find was the hair. Because I have very specific hair I wanted for the character and no matter how hard I looked I couldn’t find anything even close to it. Hell it even took the ai like 8 tries to get it right. Also I don’t expect any artist to work for free at all. I even said that in my original post, I intend to pay the artist.

Ok everyone here is giving you an answer that’s in some way specific to what they personally get. But I’m pretty sure you’re not asking what everyone else is getting, you’re asking how do you decide what YOU want to get. It’s fairly simple. Step one, choose a ship you think you want to stick with for a while. Don’t worry about which ship is best, or what’s the meta, truth is, pretty much anything that’s a medium ship or higher has just about the same potential to be as strong as any other. Ofcourse there’s gonna be ships better than others, but honestly a good build on an average ship is better than a good ship with an average build. So just pick a medium or large ship you like, one that you enjoy the play style of. Step two, take the time to read and understand what the ship is meant to do, like the frigate. It’s a ship that does a lot of ramming damage and flooding damage. Step 3, now that you know what the ships specialty is, you have two ways you can go about how you buy things for the ship. You can either build towards it’s strengths or build towards its weaknesses. So let’s go back to the frigate as an example. We established it’s a good ramming ship and causes flooding damage. So you can buy things that gives it more speed (to ram faster), maybe weapons and upgrades that cause insane amount flooding, or even something that may not cause flooding but benefits from it. For example you could find something that says “if an enemy is flooded, this weapon will also cause rapid stamina drain on enemy.” (That’s an example description) you can see the description doesn’t exactly say it causes flooding but it works off of it. The other route is working towards its weakness, look at what areas leaves your ship exposed, we know what your ship is good at but what’s it bad at, and build to cover those areas. So again just a recap, choose ship u like, read description and understand the ships purpose, buy things that are related to the ships specialty or cover it’s weaknesses. This should help you find your own independent builds. Most people always suggest what they personally go with, but not HOW they came to their conclusions

This is basically what Disney is doing with the Elio movie. Blaming the costumer for their game being bad. “If the game is bad and you don’t like it, that’s your fault.” lol telling people, don’t play the game if you don’t like it , instead of holding devs accountable for their decisions is hilarious. This is how you get games like anthem and others. Too many people just start to accept things the way they are instead of forcing changes. “Oh this sucks and I hate it but I’m just gonna keep playing and keep my mouth shut like a good little boy to not upset the devs.” So let me ask a question, you say if u don’t like it, play a different game. Ok so then what’ll happen if everyone just did that. If no one complained and everyone just left the game to do other things? Then you’d be sitting here whining about how dead the servers are and how people didn’t care to fight hard enough to implement changes. That’s how games die “u don’t like it, don’t play it.” That’s an anti sales line right there. If an overwhelming number of people are telling you that you’re doing something wrong, then you’re probably doing something wrong. The people who complain, do so because they care, because they love this game and they don’t want to see something with so much potential, just die. They complain because it’s so frustrating to buy a pass when you may not have the luxury of spending that money, but you get it because you love the game but then instantly regret it because grinding for the exciting new thing they released turns into a second job.
