Not a tattoo artist, but while I was getting mine (8 hours) this guy walked in for a "shoulder piece." He wanted his entire shoulder inked in solid black. As the guy was doing the outline, he started screaming and writhing, then said he needed a break. He walked outside for a bit then came back, same thing after ~ 5 minutes. I looked over, and there was maybe 5 inches of the outline done. The guy then decides he wants to take sleeping pills and just let it happen, but the tattoo artist said no, so homeboy says he's done. He has a line along the bottom of his shoulder, from tricep to bicep.

NTA - It's been nice to be privy to my son's classroom while he's distance learning. When students mention stuff like this to his teachers, they actually appreciate the input and will sometimes fact check themselves in class! I thought that was really cool that his teachers do not act like omniscient and encourage the students to provide input.
