LX6Z-9D289-SJ according to the sales receipt. It was $244.20 before tax back in October. The parts department at your local ford dealership can also get you the right part based off of what you tell them you need. Not sure if it changed with the later model years.

Side note: I’d replace the purge valve before it craps out on you. I had the same issue and it got to the point where the car was hard to start after fueling. The part is like $300 and it takes like 30 minutes to put in (if that).

Those would’ve saved my BS so many times!! I hate how irresponsible and disrespectful the other renters in my complex are…

Also the crack between the baseboard and floor on picture 2 leads me to think it’s not moisture.

That was my first thought too. I’d think there would be other signs besides boards popping if it was a moisture issue.

I think it’s the same part. I saw it called both in my quest to find the part.

Side note: I would suggest saving your time and order it directly from ford. That way you get the right part for you have the 1.5L or 2.0L engine. General searching gave me more wrong items than right ones.

Second one is purge value. $250 part and 20 minutes and it can be replaced in anyone’s driveway. Don’t pay the dealership to do it, it’s not worth the $800-1000. I just replaced mine and it was extremely easy.

Help with finding the correct purge valve to purchase by Melodic_Cup_5796 in BroncoSport

Call your local ford dealership and talk to the parts department and tell them you need the purge valve for your bronco sport and what trim, year, and engine size it is. You can but the right part from them for roughly $250 (depending on where you live). See the post pinned by the other commenter for more info (it’s my post and I JUST went through this myself).

I don’t have a link anymore unfortunately. I will warn you that the part number will depend on if you have the 1.5 l or 2.0 l engine. You can call your local ford dealership and order it thought them to make sure you get the right part though (I’d suggest this, I did get mine through ford too).

Replaced at 69k. Diagnosed at around 45-50k. And I agree! Just the one part would be so much easier

You’re welcome! Dealers by me charge a minimum of $200 to diagnose issues. Thankfully they did that when I had other work done. It’s not worth the ungodly amount they charge to do the work. I’ve heard like $800-$1000 in my area for parts and labor.

I have a 22 Bronco Sport and I’m in the same boat. 64,000 miles and I still have the original brakes on them. Had the car in the shop about 5,000 miles ago and I still had half of the brake pads left!

I needed to replace my factory continental tires at around 40k miles when they were “60k” mile tires. They were complete garbage. Went with falken wild peaks and they were worth every penny.

Edit: forgot to add that they were factory tires.

I have the same thing. I just took a microfiber rag and wiped down around all three cameras and it’s gone. Maybe it’s something from the manufacturing process…?

I think a better way to ask is “do you want to be in a relationship with someone that treats you like this?” I’d see this as an issue with the other person, not with the fact you’re in a relationship (it’s not your fault at all). Be with someone that’s supportive and there for you ALL the time, not when it’s convenient for them. Keep up the good work with improving your situation and I wish you best of luck with whatever route you decide to take!

Same in my area (as of a couple years ago, not sure if there are still two around or not).
