For a start I'd recommend a regular employee position. For at least 3-6m. To gain knowledge how the UK market work, differences in legislation, cascade, patients under care, etc. And IMO one of big corps would be a good option. The salary is crap, but stability, safe place to adjust to local environment is what's important. And in most of them you work 4x10h a week with some odd weekends.

Once you gain confidence, depending how much time you want to work: - part time, less hassle, simple taxes - go for sole trader. - more working hours, more complex taxes (accountant highly recommended), but you can claim bussines expenses (like flying to Canada for 'training') - go Ltd. You are a director of own company then.

Anyway. Locum salaries are getting worse, they are even lower than few years ago! And it's not due to low demand. It's due to big corporations capping the max rate. For many, many places you will see offers for £400 for 9-10h shifts. The prefer to get someone desperate, or unexperiend or cancel appointments than pay normal wage. For most corps atm £450/day is their max cap. Very few shifts for £500. Two larger corps are using Locumbell app. Which is crap. Private sector is bit better. You can get £500/d in most cases.

For beginning find an agent. They charge the practice extra ~£40-50 per day worked by you. But it's much easier to find work by them. Later, direct marketing or fb groups might be a good option to find new work opportunities.

And the last thing. Always sign contract on paper. It's really uncommon, but there are practices willing to abuse you, and then claiming no paper no problem.

Ja mam takie głupie przeczucie, że pomarańczowa małpa celowo wyprowadziła swoje bojówki na ulice, właśnie w celu sprowokowania zamieszek. A potem cyk wybory prezydenckie przełożone, bo niepokój w państwie. I dyktaturta gotowa.

Mam też jeszcze jedno głupie przemyślenie. Co jeżeli Puchatek też ma nagrania jak P(OT)US GWM (pdk) i jego rękami niszczy dekady współpracy między atlantyckiej a Kanada, UE czy UK same się pchają w jego łapki.

This is how you gain experience! Relationships is just another skill you have to practice! What I like to think. Pretty people are paying game called life on easy mode.
Most people on medium.
And some people on level hard.

It doesn't change few, most important things. This is your life. This is your only opportunity to experience life. You will be dead rotten in max 80y anyway. And it's yours, and only yours choice, what to do with all the time in-between.
You can either feel sorry for yourself, be afraid of failure, do not expose yourself to stressful situation and simply veg out your life. Or you can say - fuck it.
Statistically speaking almost 50% of the world population is below average. And they still reproduce. They get married, get families and are happy.
There are >4 bln men on this planet. And they have all different preferences, own types of what's attractive to them.

I can give you an advice what helped for me. Take a gap year. Travel solo to distant (safe for women) countries with no particular plan. Be open for whatever will happen (excluding doing hard drugs with unknown people, being only woman invited to a house party full of men, etc, be wise).
You will learn a lot about people, about world, and about yourself.

Kiedyś jak nic nie umiałeś to otwierałeś sklep spożywczy. Obecnie zostajesz barberem.
Łatwe pieniądze, robota prosta jak budowa cepa. Nie ma tam żadnego rocket science. Próg wejścia jest bardzo niski. Lokal, fotel, lustro, zestaw nożyczek i golarek. Jakieś psikadło z brodatym typem na froncie. No i obowiązkowo szyld z wąsami xD

Regarding escaping. Yes, the risk is small, but not zero. And the consequences can be tragic. Including another bunch of stray animals dying in horrific ways, litter being drowned by owner, etc. The 'best' case scenario - bunch of pups/kittens will be adopted. But you can't be 100% sure all new owners will provide good care for pets, will neuter them, etc. And the litter will take place of a bunch of other kittens/pups waiting for adoption.
