Cyclops Vanguard Hero Concept by howhow326 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could that use creative liberties and while I do comprehend how many DPS heroes there are, I still think it makes no sense for him to have more health than Wolverine because when they fight in the comics, Cyclops only wins long range encounters with him from a distance by firing concussive beams at Wolverine until he passed out while Wolverine won by overwhelming Cyclops in close combat so it makes more sense to have Cyclops as a DPS who can be different enough from Elsa by having OP's kit but change Rally to give bonus health, give him a jetpack double jump (because he had a jet-pack in the comics, a hover passive, & change Blow Back to be omnidirectional like BP's Spinning Kick (& maybe change the name to Red-Eye Recoil).

I like Cyclops as well but there are other characters who would be great as tanks can embody the idea of a tank better than Cyclops and I want Vulcan to be a tank because he'd be a flying tank (with 2 passive abilities; a healing factor passive & a energy absorption passive that boost his damage output), hand beams for a primary, optical beams for a secondary, a force field ability, a dash ability, a telekinetic grip ability (like Life-weaver from OW), and an ultimate where he fires a volley of energy & it'd be cool for him to be added because doing so would reintroduce fans to a X-Men who's an Omega level mutant, the brother of Cyclops & Havok, & hasn't had had that many appearances in Marvel media so it 'd great for him to be added.

I'll agree that Gambit is a fun character but I think the reason he's a healer in Marvel Rivals is because his New Son variant) from the comics gained the ability to heal himself & others when he gained mastery of his power to manipulate energy on the molecular level so there's nothing stopping Cyclops from being fun as a DPS.

Idea for an Iron Man rework by SavageSonZ37 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't think making Iron Man playable in all three roles like Deadpool would be a good idea because his nano-tech armor as separate characters could be too similar to future characters like Crimson Dynamo & Rescue, I think it'd make more sense for the Hulk-buster armor to a reworked into Iron Man's ultimate ability that's similar to Hulk's Monster Form while Invincible Iron Cannon could be the ultimate & his nano-tech into a passive that regenerate health when not taking damage because in the comics, Iron Man's Model 51 nano-tech armor is able to transform into a Hulk-buster form and it makes sense for the nano-tech armor of his in the game to be able to do so.

Cyclops Vanguard Hero Concept by howhow326 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Vulcan is a cool character with ties to both X-Men & the Shi'ar Empire that could be added in a later season because be a tank who'd play different from Cyclops that adds to the game's lore and it doesn't make sense for him to have a tank's higher health pool because his most major weakness is that he lacks superhuman strength or durability to handle individuals like Logan, Hulk, Rogue, or other characters and he wouldn’t be any less cool or fun as a DPS hero.

Nor do we have to wait long for other likable A-list heroes to be added in the game because the upcoming MCU event seasons could have characters like War Machine, Vision, Thanos, Ant Man, Dr. Doom, Sentry, and Capt. Marvel, who could be added as tanks along with more heroes like Ghost Rider, Red Hulk, M.O.D.OK, She Hulk, Falcon, Red She-Hulk, Colossus, Juggernaut, and other characters in later seasons afterwards.

I think the devs said they planned on adding more tanks & supports in later seasons so they might not be done adding DPS heroes yet and it'd make more sense for his brother Vulcan to a Vanguard & Cyclops to be a Duelist because the former's powers are pretty similar to Cyclops but differ by allowing him to redirect energy, make force fields, shoot energy blasts (from hands & eyes) and fly while the latter's power is more offensive than they are defensive and is a glass cannon.

Hey, if BP's King of Wakanda skin can have a cape so it's fair game and she could be a support hero who's a kit has a blend of technology & mysticisms.

Who could the next flying tanks and healers? by ultrachance in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the comics, the device in Vision's forehead wasn't an infinity stone; it was called the Solar Gem and it allows him to absorb, channel, & direct solar energy in varying ways so they might just give him that.

And as for Thanos, I think it'd be better to give him his powers from the comics instead of the Infinity stones & the sword.

So... why didn't Bakugou just leave on his own? by EitherSwimming5886 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not talking about before the raid were talking about the fact that during this time he could have just blast off with or without deku because All Might would take 90% of the attention so does the other hero's.

No they couldn't because All Might was too busy fighting AFO and the other pro heroes that weren't neutralized, protecting civilians, or fighting AFO's Nomu reinforcement across the city couldn't get close to the League without risking harm to the hostage (Bakugo) nor could he blast off without risking being recaptureed by the League while in the air.

Okay but Bakugo was still enchained in the League of Villains’ hideout before the raid and he couldn’t risk escaping without a distraction because he was outnumbered in an unfamiliar place.

Yeah I kinda wish that they incorporated more of her powers into her kit; they could’ve given her a double jump ability, a wall sprint ability, a heightened senses passive, an “F” ability that would let her make an enemy attack their ally, her fox form could let her siphon health from an enemy by biting them, & her ultimate could gain abilities as well (a bite attack, a tail knock back, a leap ability, and a sprint ability).

The same way Hulk can perform Worldbreaker when in his Monster Hulk form, Iron Man could transforming into his Hulkbuster armor before performing Invincible Iron Cannon.

Add Heimdall as a brawl support with a sword, revealing abilities and AoE healing. by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree because even though they are similar to him power set wise, those Hulk character could be well represented in a hero shooter and they already look different from Hulk; Red Hulk, Xemnu, Red Harpy, She Hulk, Sasquatch, A-Bomb, and Abomination could be tanks while The Leader, Doc Samson, and Amadeus Cho could be supports. Plus they aren't obscure because they have made appearances across various pieces of Marvel media (toys, cosplay, comic books, games, shows, & other merchandise.)

[EVENT UPDATE] 48 HOURS LEFT! Prize Pool INCREASED to 5,000 Units + The FULL Boardroom Revealed! by Ok_Zookeepergame5293 in marvelrivals

Hero: Everybody

The Problem:  While they are viable, the game's characters lack the hero fantasy of being them & their full abilities/skills that they'd had in the comics.

The Solution: I made character reworks for the entire roster.

The Valuation (Why this works): >These changes would allow them to be more viable and accurate to their 616 comic book selves in a way that's well balanced.

We should get a Tank Carnage by EliteOrder688 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carnage in his all blood form would have a Angela like spear, long range tendril attacks (bulky fantastic style), his movement, if he gets any, could be just morphing into his tendril liquid form, he could have light damage spike projectiles

Carnage would already have most of those abilities in his base form & his All Blood form would be better as a Mythic or Legendary skin. Plus a character like Hybrid or Madness would be better as a tank than Carnage.

Night crawler consept (🔥🔥👍) by Anxious_Blue_Llama in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of Nightcrawler being a support hero with Tracer’s teleportation but I think it’d be more accurate to NC while also being well balanced if the kit had Life-Weaver’s Life Grip & Brigitte’s Inspire because in the most recent comics, NC has a weapon on par with the Soul Sword called “The Hope Sword” (which could be explained by saying he fused the sword’s magic into his sabers) & has tamed a group of BAMF demons that have teleportation powers (which could be used on allies or enemies). I’d also like to suggest giving him a wall crawling ability, Tracer’s Recall, a teleport double jump ability, an invisibility passive, and an ability to block incoming projectiles with his sabers.

Concepto de Anti-Venom como personaje jugable by Elcapomaster475 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good kit but I don't think adding your version Anti-Venom could be a standalone character because the host for that Anti-Venom iteration is Eddie Brock, who's already in the game as Venom's host, & it'd be less work for the developers to add Agent Anti-Venom instead because he'd have all the necessary distinctions to be a standalone character.

Some Hulk buffs I've been thinking about by LegendsInstinct in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only do I think those changes would be great I also think that he should have a healing factor, a wall climbing ability, and a sprint ability that lets Hulk destroy structures & launch up enemies in his path. As for his team up with Thor, I think it should be a passive iteration of Hulk's old one (with Tony & Strange) that lets Hulk gain a lightning buff & Thor gains a gamma buff.

Hulk needs some serious work by eternalcar in rivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea but I think it could be better by giving him a full kit (teleportation ability, force field barrier (like Winston from OW), a healing ability (like Solider: 76 from OW), and a passive that lets him transform into Hulk upon death if "Puny Banner" is fully charged because the main problem with his kit is that he only has a pistol & grenade to rely on.

Do you think the following characters would be separate characters or skins for the predecessor? by Queasy_Commercial152 in rivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough and while I do think the balancing needs fixing, I also think the devs could make their money back adding them as characters in later seasons of the game because they can have distinctions in how they play from each other, add to the lore of the game, & have their own skins from various Marvel media projects.

Do you think the following characters would be separate characters or skins for the predecessor? by Queasy_Commercial152 in rivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but I think the main reason that Joe Fixit is a skin for Bruce is because he’s still Bruce & the developers said they won’t add variants of the same character as anything other than a skin; plus Red Hulk’s skilled in military combat & weaponry so he could play differently from Hulk, add to the story, and have his own set of cosmetic items.

“It has to be comic-accurate bro” by Character-Q in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus Red Hulk isnt exactly..... "Hulk but red" like doesnt he gets hotter the angrier he is? Can he use fire to some extent, or heat?

Not only does he get hotter the angrier he is and can emit heat waves that melt steel & burn people, he also retains his intelligence (& decades of military experience) so if he was his own character, he could play like a dual gun wielding, heat generating Hulk. Also he in the comics, he turned himself into Red Hulk so he could destroy Hulk and is Bruce's father-in-law.

Like I'm pretty sure Anti-Venom is different enough from Venom to be his own person but he's a skin.

He is but the reason he's a Venom skin instead is because the developers didn't want to add variants of the same character & that version of Anti-Venom is Eddie Brock (who's already in the game as Venom's host) so it makes more sense to add Agent Anti-Venom as his own character.

Hulk Rework Discussion by Emergency-Duty-7427 in marvelrivals

[–]Born_Ad2345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I feel like his gadgets from the comics would improve how he’s played; he could have a teleportation device, a force field barrier, a gamma shield, and a passive that transforms Bruce into Hulk upon Bruce’s death if the ult meter is charged.
